In this post I will share my experience when I found a hidden park in Langsa city, a park that is not so popular but holds a thousand histories and stories and the park is called Langsa city station park, as I said in the previous post, Langsa city is a city full of surprises, there are lots of interesting things that we can find in the city, especially if we want to explore it, if we just go around the city maybe we won't find these surprises because there are many interesting things that I think are hidden in the city.
I managed to find this park when I was resting at a food stall in the city center, coincidentally at that time I managed to meet one of the local residents who was also eating with me at that time, I immediately opened a conversation and asked many things about the city of Langsa so that hidden things that maybe not many people know, until finally the person told me about a park that is quite hidden because we have to enter a narrow alley to get there, more or less from the main road we only need to enter the alley about 200 meters to get to the park, hearing about the hidden park I was immediately interested in being able to visit it, after finishing eating I immediately said goodbye to the person and started the journey to the hidden park.
After about a five-minute drive, I finally found the park, located on the side of the road. From the main road, I immediately noticed the park's unique features, starting with its entrance, which resembles a bridge or a fortress.
What confused me at that time was that I didn't find a parking area in this park, so I decided to park my motorbike next to a food stall there, from the parking area I immediately walked to start exploring this park.
After passing through the unique gate, I immediately found a train wreck right in the middle of the park, but I think it was just the head of the train, at this moment I immediately realized why this park was called Langsa City Station Park, I had thought for a long time at that time whether this place used to be a railway line or was it a place to park trains, I was very curious about the history of this park, but unfortunately I didn't find anyone around the park to ask about it, and I also searched for information about this park via Google but I also didn't get any clear information.
This park also has many roofed benches for visitors to rest, the atmosphere around this park is also very cool and calm because there are many ornamental plants and lush trees. This park is located in the middle of a busy city, and this is the main function of this park, namely to neutralize the hustle and bustle of the city.
Imagine how you would feel if you found a place as quiet as this in the middle of the city center, would you stop by a place like this to rest or just pass by? In my opinion, a place as quiet as this is highly recommended to visit after work, because our tired bodies and minds also need natural medicine in the form of a quiet and peaceful place to rest.
In this park, I also found a large roofed area, most likely this area is used to hold large events, but I don't know for sure what the function of this area is.
This park is not very large in size, but the contents inside are truly amazing. After being satisfied exploring all parts of this park, I decided to immediately rest on the benches there,however, before resting, I took the time to buy supplies first, such as food and fresh drinks.
While I was resting, my eyes kept looking at a train wreck in the middle of this park. While I was pensive, I also thought about the meaning and purpose of this train wreck,i didn't get any further explanation about this park, not even from Google.
Of course, this is an old train, because just from its appearance it's clear how damaged it is, the paint is also faded, and I think this train wreck is one of the historical objects in this park. Hopefully I can get clear information about this park so that when I visit again, I can share my experience and complete history of this park here.
