Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️
In this post I will share my experience while traveling through Laweung road towards Banda Aceh city, according to the information I got from several people, Laweung road is an alternative route connected to Banda Aceh city, there are several reasons why many people prefer to pass this road rather than the main road, namely because the access is closer and avoids traffic jams on the highway, but in my opinion, passing through Laweung road is a joy in itself because from this road we can see such beautiful natural panoramas because on this road we will pass through many mountains and seashores.
When we first enter this road, the surrounding scenery looks normal with many villages that we pass, but after traveling for about 1 hour, the atmosphere immediately changes and we will rarely encounter villages or housing, the atmosphere around this road feels very calm because it is right under the mountains, the natural atmosphere is very felt on this road, and what is more interesting is that we can see the view of the beach which is right on the side of the road, even from some of the hilltops that we pass we will also be able to see very amazing views.
Passing this road reminds me of the road to Takengon city, there are so many natural views that we can see from this road, such as a river estuary that leads directly to the ocean and that made me stop for a moment on the side of the road to immortalize it.
The drawback that I could feel directly at that time was that this road was very quiet and when we had entered this road far, we would very rarely find housing or shops, so that made me very worried at that time because if there was a problem with my motorbike, it would be a serious problem, in my opinion it would be very risky to pass this road alone.
Along this road, I also found many livestock wandering along the side of the road such as cows and sheep. This made me have to be very careful because I was worried that the livestock would suddenly cross the road.
Look at this road, doesn't it look very quiet? There's no serious concern if we pass this road during the day, but I can conclude that this road will be very scary if we pass it at night. According to information I received from several local residents, who stated that there have been cases of robberies around this road at night. "A quiet road but full of mystery."
The calm natural atmosphere also became my encouragement at that time, the cool breeze and the fragrance of the flowers growing around this place smelled so fragrant in my nose, what I hoped at that time was that I would soon arrive at the road area which was on the edge of the beach, of course I was curious about its beauty
This is an uphill road with a steep cliff on the left side of the road, from some angles, the view of this road looks very beautiful (in my opinion), I think the cliff is a former excavation to make the road no longer too steep.
I don't remember how long it took me to pass through Jalan Laweung, especially since I often stopped at the side of the road to capture some of the natural beauty that this place has to offer. If I'm not mistaken, after traveling for about 2 hours, I finally arrived at the road area that is right on the edge of the beach.
Believe me, this beach is right on the edge of the road, even from some areas the sea water almost reaches the edge of the road (when the sea water is high tide), when I arrived at this area the view that I could see was even more amazing, because not only the mountain view, here I could also see the mountain view as well as the ocean view.
The good news is, there are plenty of rest stops along this road, allowing we to rest and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. By the way, from this Laweung road we can also find and stop at several very popular tourist destinations in Aceh, such as White sand and Lamreh Hill.
