The mini zoo in the protected forest of Langsa city is one of the tourist destinations that should not be missed when we are on vacation in Langsa city, in this place we can find lots of unique, cute, and rare animals, moreover this mini zoo is still in the protected forest area, so besides being able to visit this zoo we can also explore several other tourist destinations. When I first heard about this mini zoo I was immediately curious, I thought there were only a few animals there, so to answer all my curiosity, I immediately took the time to visit it directly.
There is no need to worry because in this protected forest there is also a safe parking area so we don't need to worry about our vehicles, after parking my motorbike I immediately walked into the mini zoo area, the surrounding conditions also look very beautiful because there are still lots of lush trees so the atmosphere really feels like being in a forest
Actually, this was my visit a few weeks ago, and now it's time for me to discuss in detail my experience while exploring this mini zoo. Not far from the parking area, I immediately found a parrot cage, and several visitors were also seen there.
You know what makes many visitors linger around this parrot cage, yes the reason is the parrot itself, for those who don't know this parrot has a very unique ability, namely being able to imitate human voices, this is one of the reasons why this parrot is one of the birds that is very unique and is very popular with many people, but it is very unfortunate because the population of this parrot is already quite rare in my area, it is even very difficult to find it in the wild
Not far from the parrot cage area, I also managed to find a lake that was quite large in size,again, with a high level of curiosity, I immediately walked to approach the lake,i immediately felt a calm atmosphere as soon as I arrived around the lake, moreover, the view it offered was also very amazing.
To be honest, I haven't had coffee for a long time, but in a place with such beautiful views, I took the time to enjoy a cup of coffee in peace. I rested around the lake for about 15 minutes, and after the coffee was finished, I immediately continued exploring this mini zoo.
This is a mini map that serves as a guide in this mini zoo, from this area I immediately walked towards the deer enclosure.
This deer enclosure is quite large, so visitors can see the deer from various different angles, but I don't know whether visitors are allowed to enter this enclosure or not. In my opinion, the deer here are not very friendly towards humans, this was proven when I wanted to touch one of the deer that was eating, but not long after the deer immediately went away from me, maybe next time I should bring food first to lure them to walk towards me.
Still near the deer enclosure, I also managed to find a monkey sitting pensive, its face looked very sad, but this zoo must have a reason why this monkey was here.
And this is an eagle, this bird does look very calm, but visitors are strictly prohibited from standing too close to this eagle cage, and visitors are also not allowed to put their fingers into the eagle cage because eagles have very fast reflexes, with their very sharp beaks they will definitely be able to give us quite serious injuries.
And this is a hedgehog cage, but I don't know why the hedgehog cage is made separate from the cages of other animals, maybe because hedgehogs can harm other animals because they have very sharp spines, at that time I couldn't play with the hedgehogs because they were sleeping, I didn't want to disturb their sleep time and let them play around in their dreams
There were actually many unique and rare birds in this cage, but unfortunately, I couldn't photograph them because they were so active and constantly flying around that my phone's camera couldn't focus on them. However, I did manage to capture a few photos, such as a peacock and an eagle.
Not far from the bird cage area, I managed to find a cage that looked very closed, so I immediately decided to approach the cage, and this is what was inside this cage.
Yes, this is a python, I myself am a person who is very afraid of snakes, when I first saw this snake, I immediately felt panicked to the point that the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, but in that fear I still tried to immortalize it
My next goal was to look for a crocodile enclosure, but after walking around I still couldn't find it so I immediately approached the officer there and asked about the location of the crocodile enclosure, it turned out that the crocodiles here were no longer there because they had been moved to another place,hearing that made me a little disappointed, because before coming to this place I already had plans to visit the crocodile enclosure, because according to several local residents, in this zoo there was a crocodile that was very large in size, that's what made me very curious at that time
I don't know if I have managed to visit all the animals in this mini zoo, coincidentally at that time I was very tired and hungry so I decided to immediately leave this place and look for a food stall, coincidentally not far from the mini zoo area there are lots of food stalls and cafes there.
