In this post I will share my experience when visiting a park in the center of Langsa city and the park is called the Station Park, my main purpose of visiting this park is to rest after traveling around the city, in this park there are also several unique buildings and green plants that look quite refreshing, and there are lots of exciting moments that I managed to get while in the park and I think this is an interesting experience for me to tell here.
The good news is that this park is located in the middle of Langsa city center so access to the park is very close, the bad news is that this park is quite hidden because it is surrounded by city buildings, if from the main road of the city then we have to pass through a small alley first, even I myself was quite overwhelmed to find the location of this park and I had to ask several different people.
According to the information I got from several local residents who stated that this park used to be very crowded, especially in the afternoon, many people visited this place for a vacation or just to spend their afternoon, moreover in this park there are lots of lush trees and green plants that look quite refreshing to the eye, but it is very unfortunate that now this park has minimal visitors, there are even days when not a single visitor comes to this park
The entrance gate to this park also looks very attractive, and as soon as we enter this park we will immediately be greeted by an extraordinary green view.
Anyone can visit this park and what's more interesting is that there are no tickets or fees to enter this park, aka it's free. Apart from its natural conditions which are still pristine, in this park there are also two open buildings that look like curved roofs,i think these buildings function as a place for shelter.
If seen in terms of size, this park is not too big, but it is not about size but about the satisfaction of everyone who visits this park, in my opinion, this friend is still good enough to be used as a tourist destination, moreover this park continues to receive special care so that it still looks amazing.
Inside this park there is a two-story building that made me very curious at that time.
With a high sense of curiosity, I began to approach the building,on the first floor, I didn't find anything interesting, which made me curious to immediately go up to the 2nd floor,initially, I didn't find anything on the 2nd floor, but not long after, an old man came out of the building, which also made me very surprised at that time,it turned out that this old man was a worker in this park and he worked as a park cleaner.
This is the view of the park when seen from the 2nd floor, many areas are not visible because they are covered by lush trees. After chatting for a while with the old man I immediately decided to go down, but there was information that I managed to get from the old man about the name of this park which sounded quite strange, according to the old man this park used to be an active train station in the city of Langsa, but for some reason over time the train station became increasingly quiet until it was finally abandoned and now the station has become a park, and this is the main reason why this park is called the Langsa city station park, but whether the story is true or not I don't know
After being satisfied with walking around this park, I decided to rest under the curved roofed building. Resting in this park feels like being directly in the wild, it is very rare to hear noise from vehicles and that is what makes the comfort and tranquility even more felt. In addition, fresh plants and colorful flowers also make for a view that looks quite impressive, I think this park will be my favorite place when I want to rest in the city of Langsa.
