Bye bye vacaciones... Hello año escolar 2025-2026 📒🤗 [Esp/Eng]

Se nos acaban las vacaciones, ya los chicos inician clases y mi esposo sus clases en el colegio, pero por suerte puedo decir que disfrutamos de casi dos meses de mucho compartir en familia, saliditas especiales, comida rica y mucho descanso, aunque si me dieran unas semanitas más de descanso no me quejaría en lo absoluto, pero la verdad es que mirando mi galería no puedo más que agradecer por todo lo que pudimos hacer, y quizá no estamos muy preparados psicológicamente para volver a la rutina, pero le vamos a poner muchas ganas 🤣 >Vacations are over, the kids start classes and my husband starts his classes at school, but luckily I can say that we enjoyed almost two months of sharing with family, special outings, delicious food and lots of rest, although if they gave me a few more weeks of rest I would not complain at all, but the truth is that looking at my gallery I can only be grateful for everything we could do, and maybe we are not very prepared psychologically to return to the routine, but we will put a lot of desire 🤣  Este año escolar pinta bastante fuerte para los chiquitos de la casa porque para Miranda será su primer año en secundaria, muchos cambios por delante, un sistema tanto de clases como de evaluaciones totalmente diferente, además su grupo ya no será el mismo con el que viene desde preescolar, aunque por dicha sus mejores amigas están en la misma sección con ella. Para Matías es una nueva etapa, inicia la educación media, lo que marcan sus dos últimos años de colegio y para él se siente como que inicia el fin de lo que es su niñez y su tiempo de cero preocupaciones y responsabilidades, ya se ve en la uni, graduado y trabajando toda su vida 🤣 Lo único que a ambos les emociona de este nuevo año escolar es el reencuentro con sus compañeros y las compras escolares que la verdad es que yo también las disfruto un montón.

This school year looks pretty strong for the little ones of the house because for Miranda it will be her first year in high school, many changes ahead, a totally different system of classes and evaluations, plus her group will no longer be the same as the one she has been in since preschool, although fortunately her best friends are in the same section with her. For Matías it is a new stage, he starts middle school, which marks his last two years of school and for him it feels like the end of his childhood and his time of zero worries and responsibilities, he already sees himself in college, graduated and working all his life 🤣 The only thing that excites both of them about this new school year is the reunion with their classmates and the school shopping, which I really enjoy a lot.

   Esa búsqueda de útiles escolares no solo me llena de nostalgia al verlos tan grandes ya, sino que me recuerda mi propia época de escuela, y es que en serio para mí el inicio a clases era lo máximo, amaba ir a escoger mis cosas, y era súper fan de cuanta cosa innecesaria hubiese como libretitas, marcadores, stickers, lapiceros con muñequitos, en fin, que por supuesto me disfruto mucho toda esta búsqueda desde que mis niños iniciaron su etapa escolar, de hecho creo que yo siempre voy más emocionada que ellos 🤣 Esta vez en cuanto a uniformes solo tuvimos que reemplazar camisas ya que ambos cambiaron de color (Matías a color beige y Miranda a azul), pero en cuanto a útiles escolares tocó incluso comprar morrales nuevos, aparte de todo lo demás como cuadernos, lapices, marcadores, y todo lo que van a necesitar para su día a día en clases, y por supuesto que me disfruté un montón cada salida.

That search for school supplies not only fills me with nostalgia to see them so big already, but it reminds me of my own school days, and seriously for me the start of school was the best, I loved to go to choose my things, and I was super fan of any unnecessary thing there was as notebooks, markers, stickers, pens with dolls, in short, that of course I really enjoy all this search since my children started their school stage, in fact I think I always go more excited than them 🤣. This time in terms of uniforms we only had to replace shirts since both changed color (Matías to beige and Miranda to blue), but in terms of school supplies we even had to buy new backpacks, apart from everything else like notebooks, pencils, markers, and everything they will need for their day to day classes, and of course I enjoyed a lot every outing.

    Ya en este punto creo que no nos falta nada, aunque justo ahora que escribo me estoy recordando que Matías no encontró un portaminas que le gustara, ahora que ha crecido es un poco más exigente con todo, incluso escoger sus cuadernos fue todo un tema, pero es parte de crecer. Los gustos cambian, y mi niño ya no no es un niño, y para él todo parecía para *"bebés"* 🥺 A pesar de lo exigente que se han vuelto mis chicos logramos encontrar todo, y lo mejor es que cada salida fue un tiempo especial, no solo para hacer compras, sino para compartir en familia además de comer cositas ricas, y llenarme de muchas pero muchas fotitos.

Already at this point I think we are not missing anything, although just now that I am writing I am reminding myself that Matías did not find a mechanical pencil that he liked, now that he has grown up he is a little more demanding with everything, even choosing his notebooks was quite an issue, but it is part of growing up. Tastes change, and my boy is no longer a child, and for him everything seemed for *"babies "* 🥺 Despite how picky my boys have become we managed to find everything, and the best thing is that every outing was a special time, not only to shop, but to share as a family besides eating yummy things, and filling myself with lots and lots of pictures.

   En resumen, esta familia ya está lista para el inicio clases, quizá nos falta un poco de ánimos porque la verdad estábamos contando en que se iniciaba en octubre, pero nada, estamos listos, le podremos toda la *"onda"* como dicen los Argentinos y por supuestos súper agradecidos con Dios por el tiempo de descanso y por todas las cositas que pudimos hacer, así que... año escolar 2025-2026, vamos por ti! >In short, this family is ready for the beginning of classes, maybe we lack a little bit of encouragement because the truth is that we were counting on it starting in October, but nothing, we are ready, we can give it all the *"onda "* as the Argentinians say and of course we are super grateful to God for the time off and for all the little things we could do, so... school year 2025-2026, let's go for you!
