Lo nuevo de Rattan: "New York Cookies" [Esp/Eng]

  Rattan es una de las cadenas de supermercados más antiguas de la isla, pero más que un supermercado podría decirse que es una tienda por departamentos, ya que no solo encuentras víveres y alimentos, sino lencería, artículos pera decorar y darle mantenimiento al hogar, además de juguetería y hasta un área dedicada a electrodomésticos y muebles, pero si creías que ahí terminaba todo, estás soñando, porque también cuentan con farmacia, óptica y hasta una heladería, y en su sucursal más grande ubicada en Rattan Plaza, incluso venden comida lista para consumir en el lugar o para llevar, y hace poco incorporaron un bodegón, lo que lo hace mucho más atractivo. Y eso es algo que me encanta de Rattan, que siempre están buscando actualizarse y ofrecer cosas nuevas a sus clientes, lo que es comprensible porque justo ahora la competencia es bastante grande con tres cadenas más como **Río supermarket, Más por Menos y Nova**, y uno de los cambios que para mí ha sido bastante genial es la transformación de su heladería en la nueva **New York cookies**, un espacio en el que como su nombre lo indica puedes encontrar distintas versiones de estas galletas que parecen haber llegado para quedarse, aunque solo el tiempo lo dirá, pero de momento no se puede negar que están en tendencia.      De momento, puedo confirmar su existencia tanto en la sucursal de Rattan Plaza, ubicada en Pampatar, municipio Maneiro, como en la de El Salado, en el Municipio Antolín del Campo, y quizá mi amiga @jesymora puede darnos información si en la sede de Rattan Plaza, ubicada en la 4 de Mayo en Mariño también está, y si no la tienen es urgente que la inauguren, porque miren qué absolutamente deliciosas lucen estas galletitas, todas gorditas y bonitas, casi provoca dejar el mercado y llevar solo galletas 🤣 Dicho esto, aunque solo hacemos compras rápidas en la sucursal de mi municipio, cada vez que vamos aprovecho la oportunidad de comprar una barquilla de esas deliciosas que venden ellos (porque las siguen vendiendo), pero ahora con estas galletas me la han puesto bastante difícil, de hecho en mi última visita me tomó bastante decidirme entre barquilla o galletas, y por supuesto ya saben cuál fue mi elección 🍪     Una deliciosa galleta New York Red Velvet, por 1.49$, con muy buena pinta, buen tamaño y bastante gordita, y gracias a Dios que vivo cerca porque llevarla en las manos y esperar a casa para tomar buenas fotitos fue una *"medio*" tortura, y digo *"medio"* porque me compré un chocolatito para el camino 🤣 Por supuesto que en cuanto llegué a casa dejé las bolsas de las compras y fui directo a lavar mis manos y probar mi súper galleta que la verdad estaba deliciosa!!! Tenía gotas de chocolate blanco y negro, un glaseado de chocolate blanco y una buena cantidad de relleno también de chocolate blanco. Así que fue una muy buena decisión, aunque para ser sincera quizá hubiese preferido la promoción de dos barquillas por poco menos de 2$, porque en serio en serio son absolutamente deliciosas.     Así que mi gente, si son como yo que en la tarde quieren un dulcito, y no se dejan engañar por barras de cereales o galletas de semillas, y tienen un Rattan cerca, vayan y demse un gustito. Eso sí, un poquito de paciencia porque todo el sistema de cajas en Rattan es bastante lento, pero vale la pena. Y si necesitas hacer mercado aprovecha! Yo voy por las galletas 🤗

And that's something I love about Rattan, they are always looking to update and offer new things to their customers, which is understandable because right now the competition is quite big with three other chains like **Río supermarket, Más por Menos and Nova**, and one of the changes that for me has been pretty cool is the transformation of their ice cream shop into the new **New York cookies**, a space where as its name suggests you can find different versions of these cookies that seem to have come to stay, although only time will tell, but for now you can not deny that they are trending. That said, although we only do quick shopping at the branch in my town, every time we go I take the opportunity to buy one of those delicious cookies they sell (because they still sell them), but now with these cookies they have made it quite difficult for me, in fact on my last visit it took me quite a while to decide between cookies or cookies, and of course you know what my choice was 🍪     A delicious New York Red Velvet cookie, for 1.49$, looking very good, good size and quite chubby, and thank God I live nearby because carrying it in my hands and waiting home to take good pictures was a *"half*" torture, and I say *"half "* because I bought a chocolatito for the road 🤣 Of course as soon as I got home I left the shopping bags and went straight to wash my hands and try my super cookie which was delicious!!!! It had white and dark chocolate drops, a white chocolate frosting and a good amount of white chocolate filling as well. So it was a very good decision, although to be honest maybe I would have preferred the promotion of two wafers for just under $2, because seriously seriously seriously they are absolutely delicious.     So my people, if you are like me who want a sweet treat in the afternoon, and you are not fooled by cereal bars or seed crackers, and you have a Rattan nearby, go and treat yourself. Just a little bit of patience because the whole checkout system in Rattan is quite slow, but it's worth it. And if you need to go grocery shopping, take advantage! I'll get the cookies 🤗
