Hello everyone, let me share my hometowns beauty through some organic fruits and snacks made out of it.
These are some of the mulberries that was just harvested.
You can all see here that my daughter is so happy because the mulberries are already ripe and she can eat it again.
This is one of my mother's banana tree just in front of our house, but some of the other bananas have been harvested.
Here's a peek of some harvested bananas.
Some of the ripe bananas were just boiled along with the sweet potatoes for snack in the afternoon and the kids really loved it.
We called this bananaque, riped banana then fried it with brown sugar until it caramelised.
This one is called banana fritters where the bananas were soaked in flour and water mixture then fried together.
We also have banana chips which is made from green saba. Peeled, sliced thinly then fried with a bit of sugar until golden brown. Viola you have a crunchy snack!
I hope you enjoy these photos I shared with you.
