Yes, HiveFest 2025 is fast approaching, and I am thrilled to share some exciting developments. From fresh faces on stage to a bold new conference day and an expanding ecosystem of partners! The energy is building for what promises to be our most collaborative and outward-looking edition yet.

Four New Speakers Join the HiveFest Lineup

We’re welcoming four remarkable individuals to the stage: each bringing unique insights from across the Hive ecosystem and beyond.

@macchiata has been a cornerstone of Hive’s community life for over six years, known for her curation work with OCD and as the driving force behind Hive Book Club. She recently helped organize a Hive event in Indonesia, collaborating with local writing communities. At HiveFest, she'll deliver a lightning talk reflecting on the joys and challenges of building and nurturing communities — both online and offline — through Hive.

@sagarkothari88, a mobile developer and Hive witness, will host a live workshop showcasing his custom-built toolkit for Flutter developers. His session is all about empowering others to create Hive-native apps in record time, complete with reusable UI elements and baked-in 3Speak functionality. Whether you’re building for creators or communities, this one’s for the builders.

@sorin.cristescu, co-founder of OffChain Luxembourg, brings a fresh perspective on how Hive’s core features: zero-fee transactions and human-readable usernames. Ways to unlock new ways of organizing local economies. His talk explores how Hive is powering OffChain’s social-financial projects like Plaza.lu and Innopay, showing how blockchain can serve as both infrastructure and inspiration for grassroots innovation in Europe.

Sourabh Tiwari, founder of Quant8, will dive deep into the world of altcoin analysis. Rather than chasing headlines or hype, he’ll share a more thoughtful approach to evaluating token ecosystems: spotlighting metrics like community strength, developer activity, liquidity patterns, and tokenomics that actually matter. It's an essential talk for builders, investors, and analysts alike.

Introducing ChainCulture: A New Kind of Conference Day

HiveFest now proudly presents ChainCulture as Conference Day 2, happening Friday, October 17 at the stunning Glasshouse @ Seputeh. Welcome to the Web3 Jungle baby!

Every year, HiveFest is supported by the HiveDAO through the ValuePlan and with that comes a responsibility to connect Hive to the broader world. ChainCulture is the response to that: a free, public event designed to welcome new communities, explore cross-chain innovation, and showcase what Hive brings to the table in a wider Web3 ecosystem.

Think of it as HiveFest with an open door: where cultural movements meet protocols, and collaboration knows no chain boundaries.
