A few days ago, one of the biggest cultural events in my city took place, which focuses on commemorating the “Virgen de la Consolación de Táriba” (Our Lady of Consolation of Táriba). This event brings thousands of people together to accompany the Virgin along the avenues and streets from the regional capital to my city, ending at the main basilica.
I was able to take some photos in the area around the basilica during mass. It was a great experience, and there were so many people everywhere. It's always an incredible moment when so many people come together for this type of event.
Hace unos días fue uno de los eventos culturales más grandes de mi ciudad, el cual se centra en la conmemoración de la "Virgen de la Consolación de Táriba", un evento que mueve a miles de personas a realizar un recorrido acompañando a la virgen por sus avenidas y calles desde la capital de la región hasta mi ciudad, llegando así a la basílica principal. Pude realizar unas fotografías por la zona en la basílica en el momento de la misa, fue una experiencia genial y había demasiada gente en todos lados, siempre es un momento increíble como muchos se unen para este tipo de eventos.
These were some photographs taken in the basilica, making good use of the lighting and silhouettes that could be created. I also used the Samsung's wide-angle lens to take very wide shots, and I really liked the results.
Estas fueron algunas fotografías realizadas en la basílica aprovechando mucho las luces y siluetas también que podía crea, también use el angular del Samsung para realizar tomas muy amplias y me gustaron mucho los resultados.
