Happy Wednesday Hive food! I hope all is well to you and to your families. Have you tried dining in Shakey’s? Does anyone here love to eat or dine in Shakey’s? Hello hiver’s! This is your hiver @ronimarie82 from the Philippines and let me share with you all how Shakey’s shaken my taste.
It was a sunny day when I went out for grocery shopping. It was 3pm and I thought of eating snacks first before heading to the supermarket. At first I was hesitant to enter the restaurant because I had never been to Shakey's. I thought their food was expensive so that would be an adjustment to my budget.
I get inside the Shakey’s restaurant and check their menu, Hello! I need to make sure my grocery money would not go to my snack. My first impression was that they have many customers and mostly I saw pizza on their tables. I was thinking maybe their pizza was really yummy. All by myself is me so I would not order a whole pizza besides I cannot carry or bring along with me any food in the supermarket from outside.
My order was a combo meal that included spaghetti, fried potato, fried chicken, toast bread and 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza, my favorite. I also ordered a pan of spaghetti , a Caesar salad, a mushroom soup and a Ginger Ale. When the food was served I took photos for my blog.
After eating I was thinking , Am I a selfish mom for eating without my daughters? well, I would just bring them with me and we would dine here in Shakey's during weekends. When they do not have class. For now, I would just make this my simple treat for myself eating snack and be shaken by Shakey's taste.
The food was yummy and I can say it was worth every peso I paid for it. It makes me full and the Ginger Ale drink was yummy too. After done eating I proceed to do my grocery shopping.
