Hello Everyone! Hope you're all are doing great and welcome to my daily Splinterlands post!

Today, I'm going to be talking about a unit whom I recently rented. I played lots of games with it and this card is a beast! So, I thought I had to make a spotlight post about this card. This is card is Djinn Oshannus.

Introducing Djinn Oshannus

Djinn Oshannus belongs to the Water element and plays as a mage attacker. This card can be used in medium to high mana cap battles because of it's mana cost. It costs 8 mana to be used in battles. This amazing card carries 3 abilities at it's max level, which I'm going to be talking about next.

Stats and Abilities

At level 1, this card comes with 2 magic attack, 10 health and 5 speed. Even at level 1 this card is an absolute beast. It can dodge enemy attacks because of it's high speed. This card also comes with 1 ability from the initial level, Void.

Void

  • Void: 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

When this card is upgraded to level 2, it's health increases from 10 to 11. It also gains a new ability, Phase.

Phase

  • Phase: Magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks.

At level 3, it's stats remains the same, however it gains it's final ability, Forcefield.

Forcefield

  • Forcefield: Attacks dealing 5 base damage or more instead deal 1 damage.

At level 4, it's magic attack increase from 2 to 3.

Lore

Dawn of the Djinn 3 of 4 - The Djinn are angry at the way they were tricked by the Planet, but also appreciative that they can now enjoy this limited freedom, each trapped by natural forces. The Djinn possess powerful ancient magic of their own, which is now charged into the force of one element for each of them. The ancient demons of war are an awkward bunch to be chosen as a planetary defensive force, but they are also impressively capable of the job. As long as they are bound by the Planet, they will do its bidding. Whatever their would-be choices and allegiances, they will fight against the Chaos Legion to protect the sixth mana gate.

Conclusion

This monster card is something that every player should have in their arsenal. Even at bronze league, this card is a great addition to the team and it really packs a punch. It can defend, attack and also dodge attacks, what more can you ask for? Even if talk about this card from a trading point of view, it goes for a pretty hefty amount when you upgrade it to max level. It goes for upto 25$ in the market, so keep leveling it up lads!

So next time you’re running a Water team in a high mana match, give Djinn Oshannus a try. You might be surprised by how much this beast can contribute to your win streaks!

That’s all for this post! I’ll be back tomorrow with another one, so stay tuned and follow my Splinterlands journey.
