**¡Qué bueno volver con ustedes!** Buscando una manera de agilizar las cosas en la cocina y ahorrarme tiempo, investigué maneras de conservar tomates en la nevera para tenerlos pelados y cortados a la hora de necesitarlos para mis ensaladas en la semana. Está es la manera más fácil y práctica que conseguí y quiero compartirla con ustedes en esta oportunidad. Es práctica y saludable, aunque no dura mucho en la nevera, sólo un máximo de 4 a 5 días. A continuación te muestro el procedimiento.

Then we boil them for 5 minutes so that the skin comes off more easily. You can also peel them. >En primer lugar lavamos muy bien los tomates. Luego los hervimos por 5 minutos para que les salga la piel más fácilmente. También puedes pelarlos. ## 2 It is important to check that the tomatoes are in good condition. After peeling them, chop them as you like. I did it in julienne but you can do it in squares as well. Set aside. >Es importante constatar que los tomates estén en buen estado. Luego de quitarles la piel, los picamos a nuestro gusto. Yo lo hice en julianas pero puedes hacerlo en cuadritos también. Se reservan. ## 3 Previously we should have sterilized a glass container with a lid. It can be boiled or washed with a solution of white vinegar and water. >Previamente debimos haber tenido esterilizado un envase de vidrio con tapa. Se puede hervir o lavar con una solución de vinagre blanco y agua. ## 4 Finally, the oil, vinegar and salt are added to the container. Stir. Then add the tomato, cover and stir, allowing the whole tomato to soak in the emulsion. Keep in the refrigerator. Consume within 4 days. >Finalmente se añaden al envase el aceite, el vinagre y la sal. Se revuelve. Seguidamente se agrega el tomate, se tapa y se revuelve permitiendo que todo el tomate se impregne de la emulsión. Conserva en la nevera. Consúmelo en 4 o 5 días.
