Greetings, Lifestyle friends! Today I want to share a reflection with you, taking into account the fact that today is World Smile Day, celebrated every first Friday in October.
I've been reading about the topic, and one of the things that caught my attention was learning that smiling has many benefits. Going through life with a smile on our faces gives us a better attitude, activates happiness hormones, endorphins and serotonin, and reduces cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone. I believe that all these factors contribute to maintaining a better mood and mental and emotional health.

A smile lights up our face and gives us a very positive vibe, not only to ourselves but also to others, which is why we often notice that laughter is contagious. That joyful energy spreads to those around us and makes our time together more pleasant and comfortable. Not to mention that wearing a nice smile can open doors in life, as it makes us appear more friendly, trustworthy, and open-minded.
This simple gesture can help us connect better with people and bring us personal well-being. Not only that, but according to some studies, smiling can improve our immune and cardiovascular health, so it's worth a try.

I have seen people practicing what is known as laughter therapy, and it seems to be an effective technique for relieving stress and everyday worries. So, we have no choice but to laugh and smile, even when things are not going well, so that we can attract positivity into our lives and ward off the bad vibes and lack of motivation that often accompany us for several reasons. Thank you for joining me in this reflection; I hope you spend the day remembering that it's important to smile.
