A warm hug to the Hive Open Mic community! I’m happy to be with you again, this time for week 280, in which we have the theme “Drawing,” a topic that I believe is closely related to art.
I can't think of a better tool for well-being and self-reflection than practicing the art of painting or drawing, whether or not we are experts in the field, since this beautiful activity, beyond the aesthetic, also allows us to realize how we see and replicate the world around us through a sketch that will later become a final work. I believe that this is how life itself is; we are always in constant search of means of expression, something that we need so much as human beings.
On this occasion, I bring you a cover of the song Solo Pienso en Ti (I Only Think about You) by Venezuelan singer Guillermo Dávila, from the album Acceso VIP released in 1984. This song is precisely about a painter who tries to replicate his beloved, although it is not exactly an easy task, since it is not always so simple to put feelings aside and be 100% effective in front of someone special in life; ultimately, it all depends on each person's personality. ¡Un abrazo fraterno, comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Me contenta encontrarme otra vez con ustedes, en esta ocasión para la semana 280, en la que trataremos la temática “Dibujo”, un tópico muy relacionado con lo artístico según mi parecer.
No puedo pensar en una mejor herramienta para el bienestar y la auto reflexión que practicar el arte de la pintura o el dibujo, seamos o no expertos en la materia, ya que esta hermosa actividad más allá de lo estético, también nos permite darnos cuenta de cómo vemos y replicamos el mundo que nos rodea mediante un boceto que luego se convertirá en un trabajo final. Considero que así es la vida misma, siempre estamos en una constante búsqueda de medios de expresión, algo que tanto necesitamos como seres humanos.
En esta ocasión, les traigo un cover de la canción Solo Pienso en Ti, del cantante venezolano Guillermo Dávila, perteneciente al álbum Acceso VIP lanzado en 1984. Esta canción habla precisamente de un pintor que intenta replicar a la persona amada, aunque no se le hace una tarea precisamente fácil, ya que no siempre es tan simple poner los sentimientos de lado y ser 100% eficaz frente a alguien especial en la vida, a fin de cuentas todo depende de la personalidad de cada quien.
