Greetings, family of the Hive Open Mic community! Today I present to you my entry for week 108, which theme is Undisclosed Words. This time, I bring you a very beautiful song called "Linger", written by Dolores O'Riordan and Noel Hogan, belonging to the debut album of the Irish rock band The Cranberries, entitled Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, released in 1993.
This song reminds us of the importance of communicating effectively and saying things with sincerity and honesty to the loved one, thus avoiding questioning and disappointment in the long term.
Although they are no longer active, The Cranberries have always been one of my favorite bands, as their lyrics are not limited in terms of subject matter, they could make protest music as well as really romantic music.

En esta ocasión les traigo una canción muy hermosa que canto en inglés. Se trata de "Linger", que se traduce al español como Persistir. Este tema fue escrito por Dolores O'Riordan y Noel Hogan, perteneciente al álbum debut de la banda de rock irlandesa The Cranberries, que lleva por título Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, publicado en 1993.
Esta canción nos recuerda la importancia de comunicarse efectivamente y decir las cosas con sinceridad y honestidad a la persona amada, evitando así cuestionamientos y decepciones a la larga.
Aunque ya no están activos, The Cranberries siempre ha sido una de mis bandas favoritas, ya que sus líricas no se limitan en cuanto a las temáticas, podían hacer música de protesta así como música realmente romántica.
