Greetings, friends of Vibes! It's a pleasure to be with you on week 29 of this web3 music contest. Today I want to share with you my entry, which is a multi-instrumental cover. I take this opportunity to congratulate the talented winners of the last edition.
The era of the 90s marked a historical milestone in the music industry; personally it is the period that I have best experienced and enjoyed in that sense and I consider that the musical genres and groups of that time were unique and therefore unparalleled.
As I already mentioned, for this occasion I bring you a multi-instrumental cover on acoustic guitar, congas and percussive eggs. It is the song Uma Brasileira, in Portuguese language, by the Brazilian reggae band Os Paralamas do Sucesso, from the album Vamo Batê Lata, released in 1995. I knew this song when I was a teenager and those of us who lived through that time know that it was a total success in the music scene.
The lyrics of the song invite us to live life to the fullest in a relaxed way, leaving aside so many worries, also alluding to the Brazilian people who are characterized by being very cheerful. I hope you like my presentation.
¡Saludos, amigos de Vibes! Es un placer estar con ustedes la semana 29 de este concurso musical de la web3. Hoy deseo compartir con ustedes mi participación, que se trata de un cover multiinstrumental. Aprovecho para dar mis congratulaciones a los talentosos ganadores de la pasada edición.
La época de los años 90s marcó un hito histórico en la industria musical; en lo personal es la época que mejor he experimentado y disfrutado en ese sentido y considero que los géneros musicales y grupos de ese entonces eran incomparables y por tanto inigualables.
Como ya les mencioné, para esta ocasión les traigo un cover multiinstrumental en guitarra acústica, congas y huevos percusivos. Se trata de la canción Uma Brasileira, en idioma portugués, de la banda de reggae brasileña Os Paralamas do Sucesso, perteneciente al álbum Vamo Batê Lata, publicado en 1995. Esta canción la conocí durante mi adolescencia y quienes vivimos esa época sabemos que fue un éxito total en la escena musical.
La letra de la canción nos invita a vivir la vida planamente en forma relajada, dejando de lado tantas preocupaciones, haciendo también alusión al gentilicio brasileño quienes se caracterizan por ser personas muy alegres. Espero que les guste mi presentación.
