Hello everyone! Today my journey was both planned and unplanned. I have long dreamed of visiting this small town hidden between mountain ranges. This is Cizmon del Grappa. The town is located in the province of Vicenza. Good access both by train and by bus. Having reached my destination, I got off the train and was amazed by the beauty of this place! The high peaks of the Alps stood all around! They were so impressive, close and powerful! Against their background, the houses of the city looked like Lego toy houses! In the middle flows the Brenta River, always full of water and turbulent. Today I saw that the river has become a little shallow and there are many islands in the riverbed! It feels like the warming of the climate is having its effect... But at the same time, the river adds its own flavor to this locality! It is nice to sit on the shore and listen to the sound of the water crashing against the stones! There are trout in the river! You can even fish. I saw men sitting with fishing rods and waiting for their prey. The town is small, you could say that it consists of one long street with small alleys. I walked along it, looking at the old houses. Each of them was not like the other. In Cismon del Grappa there is an ancient parish church of St. Mark the Evangelist. It dates back to the 11th century. The church was destroyed by a flood in the 18th century and rebuilt. In the main altar there is a statue of the Virgin Mary with Jesus, which is located between Mark the Evangelist and Justina of Padua. The sculpture was made by Jacopo Bassano's son Geralomo in the 16th century. There is an organ above the entrance door. The beauty of the church is striking with the rigor and sophistication of neoclassicism. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, I climbed the path into the mountains. Birdsong and the aromas of herbs, flowers, trees! I wanted to stay here as long as possible! Breathe, take as much of this crystal clear mountain air into my lungs as possible! In a clearing, right at the foot of the mountain ridges, I found wild strawberries. There were a lot of them and I was able to pick a bouquet of these fragrant and very healthy wild berries. Strawberries reminded me of my childhood... when I and my friends went to the forest for strawberries. The sun was warm, and we were looking for red juicy berries that were hiding among the green leaves. Then I lay down in the shade on the lush grass to rest a little and admire the blue sky, formidable high cliffs and listen to the songs of forest birds. This idyll lulled me and I did not feel like falling asleep... Then I walked for a long time along the river to look at Fort Tombion, which is indicated as one of the tourist attractions of this locality. 35 minutes of walking and what do I see? A neglected, abandoned structure. The fort, built back in the distant 1884-85, which performed a defensive and observation function, is now completely not an object of tourist attraction. Look at the wall of the fort, take 2 photos and I returned to the town again. The suspension bridge over the Brenta River and the surrounding landscapes made a beautiful impression. I was delighted by the residents of Chismon del Grappa. They were so welcoming and friendly! Everyone from the oldest to the youngest greeted me! For example, in Scorze, where I live now, I don't see anything like that. The residents of Scorze are either indifferent or alienated... Привіт усім! Сьогодні моя мандрівка була і запланована і ні. Я давно мріяла побувати в цьому невеличкому містечку, що заховалося між гірських кряжів. Це Чізмон дель Граппа. Містечко знаходиться у провінції Віченца. Добрий доїзд як залізницею так і автобусом. Доїхавши до місця призначення, я вийшла з поїзда і була вражена красою цього місця! Навколо стояли височенні вершини Альпійських гір! Вони були такі вражаючі, близькі та могутні! На їхньому фоні будиночки міста виглядали як іграшкові будинки з Лєго! Посередині протікає річка Брента завжди повновода та бурхлива. Сьогодні я побачила, що річка трохи обміліла та в руслі є чимало острівців! Відчувається, що потепління клімату дає свій вплив... Але разом з тим річка додає свого колориту до даної місцевосці! Гарно посидіти на березі та послухати шум води, що б'ється з силою об каміння! В річці водиться форель! Можна навіть ловити рибу. Я бачила чоловіків, що сиділи з вудочками та чекали на свою здобич. Місто маленьке, можна сказати, що складається з однієї довгої вулиці з невеличкими провулками. Я йшла вздовж, розглядаючи старовинні будинки. Кожен із них не був подібний на інший. В Чізмон дель Граппа є старовинна парохіальна церква Святого Марка Євангеліста. Вона датується 11 століттям. Церква була зруйнована повінню в 18 столітті та відбудована заново. В головному вівтарі знаходиться статуя діви Марії з Ісусом, яка розташована між Марком Євангелістом та Юстиною Падуанською. Скульптура виконана сином Якопо Бассано Джераломо у XVI столітті. Над вхідними дверми знаходиться орган. Краса церкви вражає строгістю та вишуканістю неокласицизму. Смачно пообідавши у місцевому ресторанчику, я піднялася стежкою в гори. Співи птахів та аромати трав, квітів, дерев! Тут хотілося бути як найдовше! Дихати, набирати якнайбільше в свої легені цього гірського кришталево чистого повітря! На поляні, прямо біля підніжжя гірських кряжів я знайшла лісові сунички. Їх було багато і я змогла назбирати собі букетик з цих запашних та дуже корисних лісових ягід. Суниці мені нагадали моє дитинство... коли я разом зі своїми подружками ходили до лісу по суниці. Сонце пригрівало, а ми шукали червоні соковиті ягідки, які ховалися між зелених листочків. Потім я прилягла в затінку на зелегій травичці щоб трохи відпочити та помилуватися синім небом, грізними високими скелями та слухати співи лісових птахів. Ця ідилія заколисала мене і я не зчулася як поринула в сон... Потім я довго йшла вздовж річки щоб подивитися на форт Томбіон, що вказується як один із туристичних об'єктів цієї місцевосці. 35 хвилин хотьби і що я бачу? Занедбана, покинута на саму себе споруда. Форт, збудований ще у далеких 1884-85 роках, що виконував оборонну та спостережну функцію зараз повністю не є обєктом доя туристів. Подивитися на стіну форту, зробити 2 фотознімки і я повернулася знову до містечка. Красиве враження справив підвісний міст через річку Брента та навколишні краєвиди. Мене потішили жителі Чісмон дель Граппа. Вони були такі привітні і доброзичливі! Всі від старого до малого віталися! Наприклад, в Скорце, де я зараз живу такого я не спостерігаю.
