Talking about the experiences of motherhood has never been easy, beyond words there is a series of events that occur "behind the curtain" which give us a lot of teaching and day by day fill us with love, frustrations and hopes... Our children make us do unsuspected things for the best reason of all: to see them happy. I confess that from the first moment I started writing in hive, I feel freer, I had already thought about writing a book, but we know that you have to invest a lot of resources, time and effort to achieve it, however, hive has given me the opportunity to share my experiences of motherhood without so much protocol and that makes me very happy.

The world is constantly changing and that is no secret to anyone, we are in an era of transformation, and as a consequence, we must find a way to also transform our way of thinking and evolve with the historical moment we are living in order to provide a good upbringing to our children. Sometimes we believe that we are experiencing the worst time of humanity, but I think it is not so, our ancestors had to deal with very difficult situations and with fewer resources than us, mom told me incredible stories of her effort to give us the best she could, but today we are experiencing growth in various areas of life, for example, we made a great leap into the era of technology, we witnessed the evolution of science, we are entering the world of cryptocurrencies, in short, humanity has developed incredible projects that have contributed to position us in a totally different and advanced time, which has allowed us to overcome many things, although we do not really know how to value it.

However, all these changes have brought consequences, in all areas, and also in motherhood, where we do our best to help our children evolve according to their tastes, talents and knowledge. One very important area that is in constant challenge is motherhood. From my point of view, day after day we face a social battlefield, in which we have to save our children from so many things that are becoming normalized but that really cause a lot of harm (I am not going to go into terror at this point). But we families must keep moving forward, keep living, and paint a colorful world for our children's innocence, as they acquire their own knowledge and follow their own preferences, without outside influences that can divert them from their true dreams.

Later I would like to touch on the topic of schools and current education, but now, it is time to highlight that the little ones are entering the holiday period and that means they will be at home full time, what will we do in all that free time? It's complicated for working moms to set schedules and establish routines that keep the kids busy and above all entertained, Wow, it's quite a challenge! However, my experience tells me that we should let ourselves be guided by the natural needs of creativity and the characteristics of each child, and in this way we can focus on their tastes and interests so that their vacation day is enjoyable for everyone.

We already know that when we start motherhood, we do not do it with an instruction manual to know how to handle the challenging situations that are in our way, but in this case, in this home we already took measures, first of all, I could already determine that my two boys, prefer to draw and make figures with paper, so I set up a whole scenario where they feel that they are the main artists, and in fact they are, so a drawing room was the first plan. These little ones can spend hours painting and choosing colors, and that is their great passion.

It is important to keep in mind that the activities that children develop are connected to their personality, that's why you should be quite careful when choosing what they will do and how much time they are going to invest in it. Now, this was a great idea! But we know that children do not sit still all day in one place, so, interspersed with meal times, personal hygiene and small responsibilities at home, you should vary the activities, and that is why, in the second plan, we set up a place for water games, which also entertains them until they are exhausted and very happy.

We must never forget that children are like sponges: they absorb everything around them and do not have the ability to choose what is best for them. Therefore, the influence of their parents or caregivers on them is very important, so it is convenient to be aware of their tastes and pay attention to their interests. Another activity that children prefer is visiting the park, because it is a place where they can run, jump and play in their own way. Children enjoy a particular freedom when they are outdoors, and at the end of the afternoon they come home with a different countenance, smiling at anything and everything and being fun. Those smiles that fill any mother with encouragement.

Something that the covid quarantine taught us in the near future, is to put recycling into practice, children are attracted by inventions and new things that can be created with material that we no longer use or have stored, working with glue, scissors, those tools they like to use, makes their day fascinating, and for mom is adorable to see in the results the intelligence of those brains that makes us so happy, it's amazing what they can achieve by themselves.

Of course, during the day, spaces should be reserved for other outdoor or indoor games, at appropriate times according to the weather, ball games, bike rides, reading books, among other entertaining things, perhaps visiting family and friends at some point where you can share with them a great evening. Everything under a suitable schedule, which allows us adults to continue with our responsibilities, work inside and outside the home, so that we all have a good time.

Finally, in addition to developing a schedule of fun activities, it is important to show children diverse realities, as that would be a great way for them to understand that there are many opportunities and ways to have fun, but also, guide them to learn about renowned inventors of other times, history can be a fascinating world for children if you know how to show it according to their age, there are also scientists, musicians and great artists who can inspire and open their minds to various useful possibilities for their future. How do we do it? By creating a movie theater in our own home, so they can enjoy digital stories, movies and documentaries, believe me, this can be a good environment, and mom will have some time for her chores.

In short, although sometimes we do not have time for everything, we must be attentive to the most important thing, this would be that the vacation day is enjoyable, that the children are entertained and can continue learning, while mom and dad perform their adult activities, before we traveled as a family, but we can no longer travel as before, in my case the economy has been a little affected by the political issue, but we must maintain a balance, it is the ideal, and of course, think of our children without losing our space.
