It’s Rosieee once again! 🌞
Guess who’s back with another story? This time, I’m taking you with me to one of my favorite beach spots—Buyong Beach in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu! 🏝️
If you’ve been following my little adventures, you already know I live for chill spots, big laughs, and those simple moments that turn into the best memories. And Buyong Beach was exactly that… but this time, even better! You're coming along (well, through this story at least 😜), and trust me—it’s one for the books.

So we went to Buyong Beach in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, and I swear, it was one of those trips that felt simple but unforgettable. When we got there, I noticed something weird—the water was getting super low. Then suddenly, like magic, this long sandy path appeared leading all the way to another island. I was like, “Wait… are we in the Bible right now?” 😭 It seriously gave Moses parting the Red Sea vibes. We were walking right through the ocean like it was just a normal sidewalk. HAHA.

The entrance fee was just ₱30 (yes, just 52 cents!!), but the experience felt like it was worth so much more. The beach was clean and wide, with lots of trees and those open cottages where you can relax, eat, and just enjoy the breeze.
The beach itself was so refreshing. It was wide, clean, and surrounded by trees that gave nice shade. We stayed in a cottage, the kind where you just sit down, eat, chill, and let time pass slowly. My kid was running around happily, and I felt at peace watching them play, especially since there were safety barriers in place. Finally—a beach where I didn’t have to panic every five minutes!

Of course, my whole family was there, and it was such a heartwarming day. We laughed, shared food, and made random jokes about literally everything. But one of the funniest parts of the whole trip? Me and my sister-in-law Gladys had a full-on moment.

We suddenly decided to do a “POV: we’re lovers” photoshoot 😭 We took turns carrying each other, pretending to be this overly dramatic beach couple in love—yung tipong may slow motion music in the background HAHAHA. People around us were probably confused but we were dying laughing the entire time. Our pictures? Cracked us up even more. I’m not sure who was carrying who most of the time, but let’s just say we both struggled 😂

There were no fancy restaurants, but honestly, I didn’t mind at all. Vendors were walking around offering tuyom (sea urchins), which I actually tried—and liked! There was also ice cream, which saved us from the heat. It felt more authentic that way, simple but fun.
They also had pumpboats for rent if you want to go island hopping, and the prices were super affordable. We didn’t try it that day, but definitely putting it on the to-do list next time.
By the end of the day, we were sunburnt, salty, and super tired—but in the best way possible. It wasn’t a fancy trip, but it was full of laughter, bonding, and memories that we’ll probably laugh about for years. Especially that fake lovers photo shoot 😆
----------------
And just like that… our little beach escape comes to an end. 🥹☀️
From walking through the sea like Moses, to sea urchin snacks, fake couple photoshoots with Gladys 😂, and all the family laughter in between—Buyong Beach gave us a memory we’ll never forget.
Thank you so much for coming along with me (even just through this post). I hope you felt the breeze, saw the clear water, and laughed a little too.
Until the next adventure—
This is Rosieee, signing off for now. Stay sunny, stay silly, and keep chasing the good kind of chaos. 🌊💙
