‎¡Hola! que tal amigos de Hive. les mostraré como fue el proceso de la elaboración del birrete de mi hijo Eidan para su promoción escolar, que como les dije en el anteriormente el instituto nos pidió realizarlos a gusto propio pero en color azul rey.

   ‎Lo primero que debemos hacer es hacer la base de cartón, preferiblemente de un cartón fuerte, cartón de kilo es perfecto para esto, ya que, al momento de forrarlo y armarlo necesita ser fuerte para que no se doble ni deforme. ‎

The first thing to do is to make the base of cardboard, preferably of a strong cardboard, kilo cardboard is perfect for this, since, at the moment of lining and assembling it, it needs to be strong so that it does not bend or deform.

 ‎Empezamos cortando un cuadrado de 25*25 centímetros, que esto sería la parte de arriba del birrete, de este cuadro lo ideal es que cortemos 3 piezas del mismo tamaño y pegarlas una encima de la otra para darle más firmeza usando silicón caliente.

We start by cutting a square of 25*25 centimeters, which would be the top of the biretta, from this square we should ideally cut 3 pieces of the same size and glue them one on top of the other to give it more firmness using hot silicone.

 ‎La circunferencia debe ser para un niño de 5 a 6 años de 55cm (adicional 3cm para unir ambos extremos), de alto 10cm y adicional a la altura 3cm más que sería una solapa para pegar luego de la parte cuadrada ya anteriormente recortada. ‎

The circumference should be 55cm for a 5 to 6 year old child (additional 3cm to join both ends), 10cm high and an additional 3cm to the height, which would be a flap to glue after the square part already cut out.

  ‎También recortamos un óvalo que va a quedar en la parte inferior de la circunferencia para tapar todos los detalles una vez estando forrado.

 ‎Forramos todas las piezas con mucho cuidado, y preferiblemente con silicón frío para evitar quemar la tela o si necesitamos despegarla para acomodarla no se dañe, para mí la más difícil de forrar fue la circunferencia, por qué la tela que use es de terciopelo y estira y al momento de colocarla fue un poco complicado. Lo ideal es ponerle la tela y luego pegar los extremos que formarían la circunferencia como tal.

We lined all the pieces very carefully, and preferably with cold silicone to avoid burning the fabric or if we need to take it off to accommodate it, it will not be damaged, for me the most difficult to line was the circumference, because the fabric I used is velvet and stretches and at the time of placing it was a little complicated. The ideal is to put the fabric and then glue the ends that would form the circumference as such.

 ‎ ‎Ya forradas las tres partes (Cuadrado, circunferencia y óvalo) pasamos a la parte que para mí fue la más divertida y creativa, que fue la de colocar las pasamanería, yo escogí 4 modelos diferentes todas plateadas y con las mismas hice la borla deshilachando una de las qué me sobró.

Once the three parts were lined (square, circumference and oval) we moved on to the part that for me was the most fun and creative, which was to place the trimmings, I chose 4 different models all silver and with the same ones I made the tassel by frayed one of the ones I had left over.

     ‎ ‎Yo le coloque pasamanerías en la parte cuadrada por arriba y por debajo por las orillas y en la circunferencia use 3 pasamanerías diferentes. ya luego de pagar y forrar unimos todas las piezas

I put trimmings on the square part on the top and underneath on the edges and on the circumference I used 3 different trimmings. After paying and lining, we joined all the pieces together.
