Let's make a topper for a Minecraft birthday party [Esp-Eng] 👾🎮

Hola amigos de Hive y de esta comunidad genial y creativa, espero todos se encuentren bien, he estado haciendo cositas para el cumpleaños número seis de mi hijo y en esta ocasión les muestro un poco el paso a paso de como le hice el Topper para la torta. El motivo es de Minecraft y use las figuras más representativas del juego

Hello friends of Hive and this great and creative community, I hope everyone is well, I've been doing little things for my son's sixth birthday and this time I show you a little step by step of how I made the Topper for the cake. The motif is from Minecraft and I used the most representative figures of the game.

‎ ‎Primero mandé a hacer una impresión de las figuras que quería usar en papel fotográfico, las busque en internet y las coloque todas en una hoja para que la persona solo tuviera que hacer unas sola impresión.

First I had a printout made of the figures I wanted to use on photographic paper, I looked them up on the internet and put them all on a sheet of paper so that the person only had to make a single printout.

‎ ‎Se recortan todas las piezas con mucho cuidado, tratando también de recortar hasta las partes más difíciles entre las letras. ‎

All the pieces are cut out very carefully, trying also to cut out even the most difficult parts between the letters.

‎Para que se vea un relieve, usamos foamis de varios colores para colocar en la parte de atrás de cada imagen recordar, podemos colocarle dos foamis o uno, como deseemos.

To show a relief, we use foamis of various colors to place on the back of each image to remember, we can place two foamis or one, as we wish.

‎Yo entre cada foami e imagen use pequeños recortes de foami para que hubiera una pequeña separación dar un efecto de relieve o 3D. Este paso sería más fácil si hubiese tenido cinta doble faz, pero como no tenía al momento lo hice de esta manera que también resultó dar el mismo efecto que buscaba.

I used small pieces of foami between each foami and image so that there would be a small separation to give a relief or 3D effect. This step would be easier if I had double sided tape, but since I didn't have it at the moment I did it this way which also gave the same effect I was looking for.

‎ ‎Para hacer el número use la misma técnica con la que hice los banderines del post anterior, que fue hacer cuadros de 1cm por 1cm para guiarme y de cuadro en cuadro formar el número 6. Use tres tonos de color verde dando ese toque al estilo Minecraft.

To make the number I used the same technique I used to make the pennants in the previous post, which was to make squares of 1cm by 1cm to guide me and from square to square form the number 6. I used three shades of green to give that Minecraft style touch.

‎ ‎Ya teniendo todas las figuras recortadas y pegadas sobre los foamis, en siguiente paso es ordenarlos de una manera creativa que nos guste. Yo imprimí tantas imágenes que no pude colocarlas todas en el Topper por qué sino quedaría muy recargado.

Once we have all the figures cut out and glued on the foamis, the next step is to arrange them in a creative way that we like. I printed so many images that I could not place them all on the Topper because otherwise it would be too cluttered.

‎ ‎Luego de decidir en qué forma quería que fuera el Topper debemos pegar todas las figuras sobre una cartulina, yo use una negra. Y para darle más firmeza para finalizar le colocamos por la parte de atrás unos palillos plásticos, y dejando por fuera, hacia la parte inferior 5 centímetros más de palillo, que estos quedarán clavados a la torta.

After deciding what shape I wanted the Topper to be, we should glue all the figures on a cardboard, I used a black one. And to give it more firmness to finish we put some plastic toothpicks on the back, and leaving 5 more centimeters of toothpick on the outside, towards the bottom, these will be nailed to the cake.

‎Y listo, un Topper hecho en casa con amor para el cumpleaños N°6 de mi hijo,  los materiales que usé para hacerlo en su mayoría los tenía aquí en casa, solo gaste en la impresión, por eso es bueno guardar los recortes de cada actividad que hagamos.

And ready, a homemade Topper with love for my son's 6th birthday, the materials I used to make it were mostly available at home, I only spent on the printing, that's why it's good to keep the cuttings of every activity we do.
