Hola, amigos de Home solutions espero que todos se encuentren bien y estén teniendo un bonito día. Actualmente vivimos en casa de una tía y ella tiene unos muebles que le gustan mucho pero ya estaban bastante deteriorados entonces para su cumpleaños decidimos que como regalo los mandaríamos a tapizar nuevamente y así fue el proceso.

We are currently living at an aunt's house and she has some furniture that she likes a lot but it was already quite deteriorated so for her birthday we decided that as a gift we would have it reupholstered and that's how the process went.

‎ Estos muebles tienen varios años en la casa de mi tía y tenían un diseño que la verdad es que facilitaba su rápido deterioro por qué eran costuras en cuadros, por lo que al sentarse todas esas costuras se tensaban y pues poco a poco fueron rompiendo el semi cuero del cual están echo estos muebles.

This furniture has several years in my aunt's house and had a design that the truth is that facilitated its rapid deterioration because they were seams in squares, so when sitting all those seams were tightened and gradually were breaking the semi leather of which these furniture are made.

‎ Además el relleno ya estaba bastante deteriorado y se hundía demasiado al sentarse, la verdad es que estaban en muy mal estado pero son muebles que valían la pena darle una segunda vida.

In addition, the padding was already quite deteriorated and sank too much when sitting, the truth is that it was in very bad condition but it was worth giving it a second life.

‎ Contactamos al tapicero y vino por ellos el día miércoles, día del cumpleaños de mi tía. Y se los llevo para empezar con la reparación.

We contacted the upholsterer and he came for them on Wednesday, my aunt's birthday. He took them to him to start the repair.

‎ Nos comento que tenía algunas maderas rotas y que era por eso que se hundía al sentarnos, desarmaron toda la parte de abajo, por qué realmente era solo la parte de abajo la que estaba dañada y ya hoy viernes estaban listos los muebles y quedaron como nuevos.

He told us that it had some broken wood and that was why it was sinking when we sat down, they disassembled the whole bottom part, because it was really only the bottom part that was damaged and today, Friday, the furniture was ready and it was as good as new.

‎ ‎ Ahora están forrados completos en la parte de abajo para evitar que se abran las costuras y en la parte de arriba le coloco unos botones para darle un toque distinto.

Now they are fully lined at the bottom to prevent the seams from opening and at the top I put some buttons to give it a different touch.

‎ Y así fue como quedaron los muebles, dándole un segunda vida y mi tía súper feliz de este regalo. ‎

And that's how the furniture turned out, giving it a second life and my aunt was very happy with this gift.
