Yo estoy muy contenta porque el pasado 24 de julio fue mí cumpleaños y, pese a que no soy muy fan de mí cumpleaños, la pasé bonito junto a mis seres queridos.

I'm very happy because last July 24th was my birthday, and even though I'm not a big fan of birthdays, I had a wonderful time with my loved ones.

Este día fue un poco caótico, generalmente es un día muerto porque en mí país es feriado, se celebra el natalicio del libertador Simón Bolívar, además de que es feriado y la mayoría de los locales están cerrados, este día hubo una tormenta eléctrica para completar.
Llovió durante casi todo el día y el clima estaba patético. A mí no me gusta celebrar mi cumpleaños porque me incomodan un poco las visitas, creo que disfrutaría más si saliera a algún otro lugar, no planeaba hacer nada este día porque la familia que normalmente me visita no se encontraba en Maturín para estas fechas, así que estaba un poco apagadita por eso, sin embargo mi mejor amigo no dejó morir el día y llegó a mi casa con una torta y un hermoso ramo de flores para celebrar.
This day was a bit chaotic. It's usually a holiday because it's a holiday in my country, celebrating the birth of the liberator Simón Bolívar. Plus, it's a holiday, and most places are closed. On top of that, there was a thunderstorm.
It rained almost all day, and the weather was pathetic. I don't like celebrating my birthday because visitors make me a little uncomfortable. I think I'd enjoy it more if I went out somewhere else. I wasn't planning on doing anything that day because the family that normally visits me wasn't in Maturín around this time, so I was a little down about it. However, my best friend didn't let the day die and came to my house with a cake and a beautiful bouquet to celebrate.

Antes de eso también había venido mi amiga Paola y me regaló una rosita con una linda cadena con la inicial de mi nombre, la amé, fue totalmente sorpresa, pero ella no pudo quedarse porque tenía que trabajar, igual aprecio demasiado el gesto, fue hermoso.
Before that, my friend Paola had also come and given me a little rose with a pretty chain with my initial on it. I loved it; it was a total surprise, but she couldn't stay because she had to work. I still really appreciate the gesture; it was beautiful.

Amo a mis amigos, las flores y el chocolate. Aunque no empezó muy bien este día, terminó muy lindo, comiendo una rica torta y compartiendo con los que amo.

I love my friends, flowers, and chocolate. Although this day didn't start well, it ended beautifully, eating a delicious cake and spending time with those I love.
