Mis pequeños foodies, espero que se encuentren muy bien y hayan comido muy rico el día de hoy.
Hace un tiempo que no pasaba por acá y es que no he salido mucho a comer a ningún lado, las cosas han estado algo necias económicamente hablando, sin embargo nos la apañamos para comer algo rico fuera de casa de vez en cuando, como esta vez que, junto a mí hermano decidimos hacer una parada rápida en un lugar random de arroz chino en el centro y quería contarles la experiencia.

My little foodies, I hope you are all doing well and have eaten well today.
It's been a while since I've been here, and that's because I haven't been out to eat much. Things have been a bit tight financially, but we still manage to eat something delicious outside the house from time to time, like this time when my brother and I decided to make a quick stop at a random Chinese rice place downtown, and I wanted to tell you about the experience.

Este día me encontraba con mi hermano haciendo un par de diligencias por el centro de la ciudad distinta, era cerca de la 1 PM, más de medio día, plena hora pico y teníamos hambre, así que pasamos por este Bar Restaurante ubicado cerca de la plaza del estudiante.
Se llama **Gran Oriente** y ya habíamos venido una vez pero hace muchísimo tiempo, como en el 2021, así que queríamos ver qué tal actualmente.
El lugar es acogedor como la gran mayoría de restaurantes de comida china, un lugar cómodo, tenue y agradable para sentarse ya sea a comer o tomar unas cervezas como muchas personas en ese momento, nosotros íbamos al ataque.
La atención es bastante buena y rápida a pesar de que había muchas personas por ser plena hora pico y todos querían almorzar, nos trajeron el menú y después de ojear rápidamente los combos de arroz frito, nos decidimos por 2 platos de arroz chino especial.
That day, my brother and I were running a couple of errands in a different part of downtown. It was around 1 p.m., past noon, rush hour, and we were hungry, so we stopped by this bar and restaurant located near the student plaza.
It's called Gran Oriente, and we had been there once before, but it was a long time ago, back in 2021, so we wanted to see what it was like now.
The place is cozy, like most Chinese restaurants, a comfortable, dimly lit, and pleasant place to sit down to eat or have a few beers, like many people were doing at the time. We were ready to dig in.
The service was quite good and fast, even though it was rush hour and everyone wanted lunch. They brought us the menu, and after quickly glancing at the fried rice combos, we decided on two special Chinese rice dishes.

Este combo se trataba de arroz frito con pollo y jamón, pero menos cantidad que cuando pedimos el de pollo, pero como les digo para el presupuesto ajustado, este fue nuestra mejor opción.
Costó 5$ el plato y eran bastante resueltos, no pude comerme todo el plato completo.
Pedimos el restante para llevar y atacar acá en casa jaja.
Es un resuelve, rico y rápido, espero poder venir con más presupuesto para pedir otros platos más elaborados y ricos, porque se ve que tienen buenas opciones.
This combo was fried rice with chicken and ham, but less than when we ordered the chicken one. However, as I said, on a tight budget, this was our best option.
It cost $5 per plate and was quite filling. I couldn't eat the whole plate.
We asked for the rest to go and attack it here at home, haha.
It's a good, tasty, and quick meal. I hope to come back with a bigger budget to order other more elaborate and delicious dishes, because they seem to have good options.
