Tenía tiempo sin pasar por acá, pero hace poco llegó un pequeño amigo a nuestra familia, así que quise mostrarles y contarles un poco sobre este nuevo integrante.

I hope you are all well, my animal-loving friends. ✨
It's been a while since I've been here, but a little friend recently joined our family, so I wanted to show you and tell you a little about this new member.

Hace un par de meses que mi compañero gatuno, Tom, falleció y, aunque lo extraño muchísimo, no pude resistirme cuando una amiga de la universidad me envió las fotos de este pequeño amigo naranja en búsqueda de un hogar. Ella sabía que había perdido a Tommy y que estaba triste por eso, así que, no se dijo más, acepté que me trajeran al pequeño naranja, al cual mi papá bautizó como: **Canelo**.
Es como si hubiese estado destinado para mí, porque justo la muchacha que lo estaba publicando vive por donde yo vivo, así que fue muy fácil coordinar un encuentro y que me trajeran al pequeño.
Ella me lo entregó el 18 de septiembre, junto a un poco de comida para gatos, él estaba muy pequeño y asustado. Al principio se encerró en uno de los cuartos de la casa y ni quería salir y poco a poco nos fuimos ganando su confianza, actualmente hasta duerme con nosotros, no fue tan difícil como creí que sería que confiara en nosotros.
A couple of months ago, my feline companion, Tom, passed away, and although I miss him very much, I couldn't resist when a friend from college sent me photos of this little orange friend looking for a home. She knew I had lost Tommy and was sad about it, so without further ado, I agreed to have the little orange one brought to me, whom my dad named **Canelo**.
It's as if he were meant for me, because the girl who was posting about him lives where I live, so it was very easy to arrange a meeting and have the little one brought to me.
She gave him to me on September 18, along with some cat food. He was very small and scared. At first, he locked himself in one of the rooms in the house and didn't want to come out, but little by little we gained his trust. Now he even sleeps with us. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be to get him to trust us.

Es un gato muy enérgico, le encanta correr, jugar y hacer desastre, mis amigas me dicen que es porque es un gato naranja y ellos tienen una personalidad bastante característica que no deja de sorprenderme se los juro.
También es cariñoso, le gusta mucho estar cerca de nosotros y, aunque cuesta que se quede tranquilo por unos minutos, a veces se ha dormido en nuestras piernas o se queda atontado recibiendo cariño.
Estoy encantada con Canelo, no tiene ni el mes y ya se ha ganado mi corazón, espero poder seguir contándoles más sobre él y su crecimiento.
He's a very energetic cat. He loves to run, play, and make a mess. My friends tell me it's because he's an orange cat, and they have a very distinctive personality that never ceases to amaze me, I swear.
He is also affectionate, loves being close to us, and although it's hard to get him to stay still for a few minutes, he sometimes falls asleep on our laps or gets dazed when we pet him.
I am delighted with Canelo. He is less than a month old and has already won my heart. I hope to continue telling you more about him and his growth.
