Hace un par de dĂas de la nada me llegĂł un mensaje de mi amiga Karla, porque asĂ es ella, es de mis amistades más inesperadas o random, pasamos tiempo sin vernos y de repente aparece para invitarme a algĂşn lugar o que simplemente le haga compañĂa, tal como esta vez que me pidiĂł que la acompañase al taller para ir a llevar su carro que estaba fallando y yo, solo queriendo salir de casa y estar un rato con ella, por supuesto que aceptĂ©. ✨

A couple of days ago, out of nowhere, I got a message from my friend Karla, because that's how she is. She's one of my most unexpected or random friends. We go long periods without seeing each other, and then suddenly she pops up to invite me somewhere or just to keep her company. Like this time, when she asked me to go with her to the repair shop to take her car, which was acting up. I just wanted to get out of the house and spend some time with her, so of course I said yes. ✨

Karla vive cerca de mĂ, pero en otra urbanizaciĂłn, era cerca del mediodĂa cuando me escribiĂł y normalmente a esa hora me ocupo haciendo almuerzo, por suerte vi el mensaje a tiempo y despuĂ©s de comer, me alistĂ© y nos encontramos para irnos al taller.
El taller es en el centro de la ciudad, nunca habĂa ido por allá, era una especie de casa antigua donde habĂa muchos carros adentro esperando ser reparados.
Karla lives near me, but in another neighborhood. It was around noon when she texted me, and I'm usually busy making lunch at that time. Luckily, I saw the message in time, and after eating, I got ready and we met up to go to the repair shop.
The repair shop is in the city center. I had never been there before. It was a kind of old house with many cars inside waiting to be repaired.

Mientras Karla le comentaba a los mecánicos quĂ© pasaba con el carro, era un problema con el aire acondicionado o algo asĂ, yo me sentĂ© a esperar, luego nos regalaron unos chupi chupi a las dos y nos sentamos a chismear y ponernos al dĂa.
Karla vende perfumes, asà que aprovecha la oportunidad de traerlos para acá ya que hay hombres y posibles clientes, logramos vender uno, ella me dice que a veces los logra vender todos, ella es muy persuasiva y buena vendedora.
While Karla told the mechanics what was wrong with the car—it was a problem with the air conditioning or something like that—I sat down to wait. Then they gave us both popsicles, and we sat down to gossip and catch up.
Karla sells perfumes, so she takes advantage of the opportunity to bring them here since there are men and potential customers. We managed to sell one, and she tells me that sometimes she manages to sell them all. She is very persuasive and a good saleswoman.

Luego aprovechamos de hacer otras diligencias mientras tanto, porque hacĂa mucho calor y estabamos algo aburridas de esperar, nos fuimos a Mango Bajito porque Karla querĂa comprar una alfombra para hacer yoga, amo ir a Mango Bajito asĂ sea a no comprar nada.
Nos tardamos un poco porque fuimos en bus, al volver ya casi estaba terminado el carro, asà que solo esperamos un poco más y ya estuvimos listas para irnos.
Then we took advantage of the opportunity to run some other errands in the meantime, because it was very hot and we were a little bored of waiting. We went to Mango Bajito because Karla wanted to buy a yoga mat. I love going to Mango Bajito, even if I don't buy anything.
It took us a while because we went by bus. When we got back, the car was almost ready, so we just waited a little longer and then we were ready to go.

Le dije a Karla que yo podĂa ser su llavero jaja, es decir, que cuando quisiera compañĂa me dijese, me encanta salir con ella asĂ sea a hacer pequeñas diligencias.
Amo a mis amigas.
I told Karla that I could be her key chain, haha, meaning that whenever she wanted company, she could let me know. I love going out with her, even if it's just to run small errands.
I love my friends.
