Ayer fue uno de esos días donde necesitaba un respiro y como cosa de la vida, Milen me escribió para vernos. Al principio ella iba a venir, pero le surgió la idea de hacer galletas 🍪 y quedamos mejor en hacerlas en su casa.
A eso de las 6 PM terminé de trabajar y me alisté para ir a su casa. Primero estuvimos hablando un rato, poniéndonos al día entre risas y chismes suaves, y a eso de las 7:30 PM nos pusimos a hacer las galletas o bueno, Milen se puso a hacerlas mientras yo la acompañaba moralmente 😅.
Mientras la masa reposaba, preparó unas empanaditas de caraota y queso que quedaron mundiales. Las galletas estuvieron listas a eso de las 8:20 PM y quedaron deliciosas, crujientes por fuera y suavecitas por dentro, como siempre 😍✨.
La verdad es que fue una noche sencilla, pero muy bonita, de esas que te recuerdan lo importante que es tener a personas con las que puedes compartir momentos así, sin complicaciones, solo disfrutando la compañía y las pequeñas cosas.
En otra oportunidad les compartiré la receta para que ustedes mismos puedan hacerlas y se endulcen el día. Porque al final, los mejores momentos son esos que se saborean con el corazón. 💛

Yesterday was one of those days when I really needed a breather, and as if by fate, Milen texted me to hang out. At first, she was going to come over, but then she got the idea to bake cookies 🍪, so we decided to make them at her place instead.
Around 6 PM, I finished work and got ready to head to her house. We spent some time catching up, laughing, and sharing a bit of harmless gossip, and around 7:30 PM, we started making the cookies or well, Milen started making them while I offered my moral support 😅.
While the dough was resting, she made some black bean and cheese empanadas, and oh my gosh, they were amazing 🤤. The cookies came out of the oven around 8:20 PM, perfectly delicious crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way we like them 😍✨.
Honestly, it was such a simple but lovely night one of those that remind you how special it is to have people with whom you can just relax, laugh, and enjoy the little things.
