Hacía bastante tiempo que tenía ganas de salir de noche a pasear por la playa, y como lo bueno siempre se hace esperar, llegó la oportunidad perfecta gracias al cumpleaños de mi amiga Priscila 🎉💖.
Ese domingo 27 de julio no estaba en mi casa y la hora para salir estaba pautada para las 6PM. Como era domingo, el transporte no es muy bueno, así que le pedí la cola a un amigo y cuadramos para que pasara por mí a las 4PM. Pero como todo en la vida, se le complicó la tarde y terminó llegando a las 5:30PM 😅. Se imaginarán cómo llegué a mi casa.
Llegué dejando un desastre en la cama 🙃, arreglándome super rápido porque ya me estaban esperando. Apenas pude saludar a mis padres, recogí lo que tenía que llevar y por suerte el papá de Milen nos llevó hasta el Farmatodo de Lido.
Allí compramos algunas chucherías 🍫 y también pasamos por una panadería, pero era como muy fancy y la gente nos miraba raro 👀.
Después de eso caminamos un poco hasta llegar a un lugar tranquilo sin tanta gente 🌴. Yo llevé un mantelito y nos sentamos allí a colocar la comida, escuchando música 🎶 y charlando. En eso llegó un chico que vendía mango con adobo y nos regaló uno, pero luego se puso algo intenso y no quería irse, así que recogimos nuestras cosas y nos movimos a un lugar con más gente.
Subimos un poco antes de Playa Cangrejo y encontramos un espacio público con mesas cerca de los restaurantes. Allí pasamos otro rato bailando y tomándonos fotos. Como a las 9PM nos dieron ganas de unas cervecitas 🍻, así que fuimos a un local que estaba lindo, aunque hacía mucho calor 🔥.
Luego de comprar, volvimos a la playa y estuvimos hasta las 11PM. Después fuimos a un restaurante donde había karaoke 🎤 porque las chicas querían aprovechar. Todo iba de maravilla, hasta que un grupo de hombres apareció 😒 y empezó a insinuarse. Los del local hicieron lo posible para que no nos sintiéramos incómodas, pero igual no me gustó la situación, así que les pedí a las muchachas que nos fuéramos 🚕.
Al final caminamos un poco por la avenida y tomamos un taxi para regresar a casa 🏠.
Sacando ese mal rato, la noche fue espectacular ✨, justo lo que necesitaba para despejar mi mente 💆♀️, y lo más importante: la cumpleañera la pasó genial 🎂💖.

It had been quite a while since I wanted to go out at night for a walk by the beach, and as they say, good things take time — the perfect opportunity came thanks to my friend Priscila’s birthday 🎉💖.
That Sunday, July 27th, I wasn’t at home, and we had planned to leave at 6PM. Since it was a Sunday, public transport wasn’t great, so I asked a friend for a ride. We agreed he’d pick me up at 4PM, but as life goes, his afternoon got busy and he didn’t arrive until 5:30PM 😅. You can imagine how rushed I was when I got home.
I got ready in a total rush, leaving my bed a mess 🙃, barely said hi to my parents, grabbed what I needed, and luckily Milen’s dad gave us a ride to the Farmatodo at Lido.
We bought some snacks 🍫 and also stopped by a bakery, but it was kind of fancy and people gave us weird looks 👀.
After that, we walked a little until we found a quiet spot without too many people 🌴. I had brought a small blanket, so we set up there, ate, listened to music 🎶, and chatted. At some point, a guy selling mango with seasoning showed up and gave us one for free, but then he started acting a bit intense and wouldn’t leave, so we packed up and moved to a busier spot.
We went a bit further, right before Playa Cangrejo, and found a public space with tables near some restaurants 🍽️. We stayed there for a while dancing and taking pictures. Around 9PM we felt like having some beers 🍻, so we went to a nice-looking spot — the only downside was the crazy heat 🔥.
After getting our beers, we headed back to the beach and stayed there until around 11PM. Then we went to a restaurant because they had karaoke 🎤 and the girls wanted to give it a try. Everything was going great until a group of guys showed up 😒 and started saying inappropriate things. Thankfully, the staff did their best to make us feel comfortable, but I still didn’t like the situation, so I asked the girls if we could leave.
In the end, we walked a bit along the main avenue and finally got a taxi to head home 🏠.
Aside from that unpleasant moment, the night was absolutely amazing ✨, just what I needed to clear my mind 💆♀️, and most importantly: the birthday girl had a wonderful time 🎂💖.
