Namaste everyone and happy sunday,im glad to be sharing my honest thought on this topic....to be honest this question is very real because everywhere you turn to like this there is one distraction or another. From social media to friends, family issues, even the noise of life itself, it is so easy to lose focus ,But for me what really keep me going is my vision, my dream, and also my background cuz i know the kind of background im coming from.
I came from a family where things were not always easy. I know what it feels like to lack and to want something badly and not have it yousee that alone is enough push for me to stay focused. Anytime I feel like losing direction, I remember where I am coming from and where I want to go. My background shaped me to be strong and determined, it taught me that if I don’t fight for my dream no one will do it for me, vecause when i look back and see the life of those ahead me,i want outshined them and be a better person.
My vision is very clear in my mind, I already picture the kind of life I want to live and the kind of person I want to become you see when you have a strong vision, distractions may come ooo but you will not give them too much attention I tell myself everyday that my future is bigger than temporary pleasure or wasting time on things that don’t add value to me. Even when I feel tired sometimes I remind myself of the dream I am chasing and I stand up again.
Family also play a big role in my focus. Not just because I want to support them, but also because I want to make them proud,may be being the first born of the family that has so much responsibilities behind me sometimes self when I want to give up I remember my parents sacrifice, I remember my siblings looking up to me, and I know I cannot just live carelessly. That sense of responsibility help me to stay disciplined.
Of course I am human, there are days I fall into distraction too. Sometimes I spend too much time on my phone or I get carried away with things that don’t matter especially social media,the difference is that I don’t remain there. I call myself back, I remember my determination, I remember the life I am working towards and I push myself again.
For me staying focused is not about being perfect, it is about knowing what you want and choosing it everyday even when other things are calling your attention. My dream is too big to allow distraction to win,My background is too tough forme to just waste my chance, My family is too important for me to disappoint. That is what keep me moving, that is why I stay focused in this noisy world.thanks for listening to my little honest thought on @iucontest
