Hi everyone this is rrusiana33 and I am here again to share our 3rd reunion experience in my hometown- Bukidnon.
This happened last May when my siblings and I went home to celebrate our yearly reunion. It's like a tradition to us since this symbolizes love for family and the care for each other.

So let me start now, most of us are from Cebu so together we scheduled our trip it was on May 18, 2025 but fate won't allow us to travel with them together. Mehir's therapy schedule suddenly changed and we rescheduled our trip going to Bukidnon to May 21, 2025. They were 3 days early than us. While waiting for the trip we were very excited because of course we waited for like a year. Fast forward, we arrived at Bukidnon May 22, 2025 at 11 in the morning. I can say finally we're here and able to meet my other siblings. The bond started. We cherished this kind of moment because we only did this once a year. Laugh here and there is non-stop. The following day we cleaned and prepared everything that was needed for the celebration or for our reunion. Excitement overflowed, I couldn't imagine that despite the crisis we could still make it. On the day of event, we were very busy since we had visitors invited to attend the small gatherings. Everybody were entertaining our relative, friends and neighbors. It's a day filled with love and compassion. What amazed me so much is when my mother invited the children in our chapel. They were the Flores de Mayo students of our Chapel and as I what I'd witnessed they were very happy. You can really see it directly in eyes. That made our reunion more meaningful because we were able to feed other individuals. It warms my heart and looking forward for this to happen next year. Aside from that, we had also picture taking by our own family with our mother, it served as a remembrance for our 3rd reunion. It's a one day celebration but a lifetime to treasure.

To be honest our family are not rich and we don't have enough but our hearts are big, bigger that no one can imagine. To prove, many of our neighbors told my mother that we are family oriented and God-centered. They can justify that. I am so thankful for the gift of family, for the love and care and most of all for being there especially when you need them the most.

Overall impact of our 3rd reunion was a success and surely we will still have our 4th to celebrate. Right now, we are thinking the plan for next year, when will it be and where to celebrate it too. To those who also want to have bondings of family try to celebrate it once a year, believe me it's all worth it. It will strengthen the ties as families and celebrating also with neighbors, relatives and friends is a plus.
