Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are all very well, today very happy to make my first post in the community of @hivemargarita, which after much work is already a community more of the blockchain and I wanted my first post to be of **playa El Tirano**, a beach located in the Municipality Antolin del Campo in the Isa de Margarita in Venezuela.

Hola amigos de Hive, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, hoy muy contento de realizar mi primer post en la comunidad de @hivemargarita, que después de mucho trabajo ya es una comunidad más de la blockchain y quise que mi primer post fuese de **playa El Tirano**, una playa ubicada en el Municipio Antolín del Campo en la Isa de Margarita en Venezuela.
Although all my family is from here, I was born and raised in Los Teques, Miranda state where I lived many years of my life, but since I was a child we came every December to Margarita for vacations to share with our families, and my parents always took us to this beach, which is located specifically in the town of Puerto Fermin, also known as El Tirano.
My grandmother on my dad's side had her house one block away from the beach, although we always stayed at my grandfather's house on my mom's side which is located on El Molino street about 7 blocks from the beach, and my parents would take me and my brother there and they would choose that beach because it is a relatively calm beach in terms of waves and it was perfect for us. After our swim we would go to my grandmother's house to eat some delicious empanadas, since she sold empanadas in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon.
When my brother and I were older we started going to other beaches with my cousins, like Puerto Abajo beach, Parguito beach and El Agua beach which was relatively close and we would walk there.

Aunque toda mi familia es de aquí yo nací y me crié en Los Teques, estado Miranda donde viví muchos años de mi vida, pero desde pequeño veníamos de vacaciones todos los diciembres a Margarita para compartir con nuestros familiares, y mis padres siempre nos llevaba a esta playa, que está ubicada específicamente en la población de Puerto Fermín, también conocida como El Tirano.
Mi abuela por parte de mi papá tenía su casa a una cuadra de la playa, aunque nosotros siempre nos quedábamos en la casa de mi abuelo por parte de mi mamá que queda en la calle el Molino como a 7 cuadras de la playa, y ahí nos llevaban mis padres a mi y mi hermano y escogían esa playa porque es una playa relativamente tranquila en cuanto al oleaje y era perfecto para nosotros. Luego de nuestro baño íbamos a casa de mi abuela a comernos unas ricas empanadas, ya que ella vendía empanadas en la mañana y a veces en la tarde.
Ya cuando mi hermano y yo estábamos más grandes empezamos a ir a otras playas con mis primos, como la playa de Puerto Abajo, playa Parguito y playa El Agua que nos quedaba relativamente cerca y nos íbamos caminando.
El Tirano is a town of fishermen, and since childhood there are children who go fishing with their parents, they get up very early and go in boats to fish or also go fishing in the afternoon to the rocks of the breakwater and this tradition has been maintained over the years, because I am a teacher in the school of this town and I have children in third grade who tell me that they go fishing with their father or a close relative.
On this beach we find a large number of boats stranded on the shore waiting for another day of work, there always arrive in the morning or in the afternoon trucks to buy the fishermen the fruits of their labors which are taken to fishmongers, supermarkets or hotels for consumption, this is a very nice day to see. As they bring the boats from the water to the shore and unload the catch.
But it is also used by the people of the town to take a swim and enjoy family days, although it is also common to see children go in groups to the beach, often unaccompanied by an adult because they are already accustomed and because the beach is quite calm and has no strong currents, plus these children swim better than fish.

El Tirano es un pueblo netamente de pescadores, y desde pequeños hay niños que van a pescar con sus padres, se levantan bien tempranos y se van en botes a faenar o también van a pescar en las tardes a las piedras del espigón y esta tradición se ha mantenido a lo largo de los años, porque soy maestro en la escuela de este pueblo y tengo niños de tercer grado que me cuentan que salen a pescar con su padre o algún familiar cercano.
En esta playa encontramos una gran cantidad de botes varados en la orilla a la espera de otro día de trabajo, allí llegan siempre en la mañana o en la tarde camiones cavas para comprarle a los pescadores el fruto de sus faenas los cuáles son llevados a pescaderías, supermercados o a hoteles para su consumo, esta es una jornada muy bonita de ver. Como traen los botes del agua a la orilla y descargan la pesca.
Pero también es utilizada por la gente del pueblo para darse un baño y disfrutar días en familia, aunque también es común ver a los niños ir en grupos a la playa, muchas veces sin compañía de un adulto porque ya están acostumbrados y porque la playa es bastante tranquila y no tiene corrientes fuertes, además estos niños nadan mejor que los peces.
Several years ago, a breakwater with large rocks was built on the beach, which contributed to the formation of an artificial inlet, which made the beach to gather a little and the same lost waves, which is how we know it now, so it is perfect for people who like calm and relatively warm waters to enjoy a day at the beach.
Just that breakwater became another attraction of the beach because from there you have a good view of the area and even the Guayamurí hill which is in another town called El Cardón, where my parents live, and we went there these days as a family to walk and tour it because believe it or not, although it is just a few blocks from my house we had never been there. We were walking on the rocks, taking pictures and enjoying the cloudy afternoon of that day.
It is not a beach that has any service, although very close has a small grocery store, but on the beach as such do not offer food or drinks, nor awning service or chairs, but at least the shade and where to sit is solved with palm trees that there are many, and nothing like sitting on the sand to enjoy the sea, but what you do have access to is several fishmongers, although if you can go to buy the boat you get much cheaper.

Hace varios años atrás, en la playa construyeron un espigón con grandes rocas lo que contribuyó a que se formara una ensenada artificial, lo que hizo que la playa se recogiera un poco y la misma perdiera oleaje, que es como la conocemos ahora, por lo que es perfecta para las personas que gustan de aguas tranquila y relativamente cálidas para disfrutar de un día de playa.
Justamente ese rompeolas se convirtió en otro atractivo de la playa porque desde ahí tienes una buena vista de la zona e incluso del cerro Guayamurí que queda en otra población llamada El Cardón que es donde viven mis padres, y ahí fuimos en estos días en familia a caminar y recorrerlo porque aunque no lo crean, aunque nos queda a pocas cuadras de mi casa nunca habíamos ido. Estuvimos caminando sobre las rocas, tomando fotos y disfrutando de la tarde nublada de ese día.
No es una playa que cuente con algún servicio, aunque muy cerca tiene un pequeño bodegón, pero en la playa como tal no ofrecen ni alimentos ni bebidas, tampoco servicio de toldo o sillas, pero por lo menos la sombra y donde sentarse se resuelve con las palmeras que hay muchas, y nada como sentarse en la arena a disfrutar del mar, pero a lo que sí tienes acceso es a varias pescaderias, aunque sí te puedes acercar a comprar al bote te sale mucho más barato.
