Hola amigos de Hive y @home.solutions, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien. Por aquí estamos muy bien, ya casi por terminar las vacaciones así que terminando algunas cosas en la casa y también en casa de mis padres, y de eso les vengo a contar hoy.
Last week, my mom asked me to help her clean the bathroom windows and the living room window on the second floor of the house, because they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, since my brother and his family left the country more than two years ago. He used to clean them because they lived there with my mom on that floor.
I had been putting it off. In fact, I had told my mom I would go on Monday, but that day I started cleaning part of the yard and it got too late to go, so I went yesterday to help her.
Yesterday we woke up late because we stayed up late watching a movie that ended at almost one in the morning, so we woke up after eight in the morning and while breakfast was being prepared and I did other things around the house, I left for my mom's house at about ten-thirty in the morning.

La semana pasada mi mamá me pidió que la ayudara a limpiar las ventanas de los baños y del ventanal de la sala del segundo piso de la casa, porque ya tenían mucho tiempo que no se limpiaban, desde que mi hermano y su familia se fueron del país, ya hace más de dos años, ya que el las limpiaba porque ellos vivían ahí con mi mamá justo en ese piso.
Ya esto lo venía retrasando, de hecho le había dicho a mi mamá que iría el lunes, pero ese día me puse a limpiar una parte del patio de la casa y se me hizo tarde para ir, así que fuí ayer para ayudarla.
El día de ayer nos despertamos tarde por qué nos quedamos en la noche despiertos viendo una película que terminó casí a la una de la mañana, así que nos despertamos después de las ocho de la mañana y mientras se preparó el desayuno y me puse hacer otras cosas en la casa, salí a la casa de mi mamá cómo a las diez y media de la mañana.
Once at my mom's house, she told me to clean the windows in only two rooms, since it was too late to clean the rest of the windows upstairs and leave the rest for another day. So I went to the first room and took down the two panels from one of the windows. I went to the patio and sprayed them with water, then added a squirt of dish soap and rubbed the surface of the panels with a damp cloth to clean them and remove all the dust and dirt.
Then I leaned them against a wall of the house that was in the sun so they could dry while I went upstairs to get the other two panels from the other window. While I was doing that, my mom cleaned the window frames and bars with a damp cloth.

Ya en casa de mi mamá ella me dijo para limpiar las ventanas de los dos cuartos solamente, ya que era algo tarde para limpiar el resto de las ventanas de arriba y dejar el resto para otro día, así que fuí a la primera habitación y baje los dos paneles de una de las ventanas, fuí al patio y allí las rocíe con agua y luego le coloque un chorrito de lavaplatos y con un paño húmedo frote la superficie de los paneles para limpiarlos y quitarle todo el polvo y todo el sucio que tenían.
Luego las coloqué recostadas de una pared de la casa a la que le estaba pegando el sol para que se fueran secando mientras iba arriba a buscar los otros dos paneles de la otra ventana, mientras hacía eso mi mamá se encargaba de limpiar con un paño húmedo los marcos y rejas de la ventana.
After I cleaned the panels from the other window and left them to drain, I went to finish drying the first two panels I had washed with a cloth. While the others were finishing draining, I went upstairs and put these panels back in place, and I did the same with the rest of the windows.

Después que limpié los paneles de la otra ventana y las dejé escurriendo fuí a terminar de secar con un paño los dos primeros paneles que lavé. Mientras que las otras se terminaban de escurrir, subí estos paneles y los acoplé nuevamente en su lugar y así hice con el resto de las ventanas.
I was going to remove the panels from the two bathroom windows, but I realized it was already late. It was 12:10 p.m., and I had to go to the supermarket to buy a few things I needed to make lunch, so I left the large windows and the bathroom windows for another day. I'm also going to take advantage of the opportunity to apply the product I recently used on the front door to the wooden window frames to prevent them from deteriorating, because they were already looking a bit dry from the sun. I'll be sure to let you know when I do that.

Iba a sacar los paneles de las dos ventanas de los dos baños pero me percate que ya era tarde, eran las doce y diez del mediodía y tenía que ir al supermercado a comprar unas cosas que faltaban para preparar el almuerzo, así que quedaron los ventanales y las ventanas de los baños para otro día, además voy aprovechar y le voy a colocar el producto que le coloque a la puerta de la casa hace poco, a los marcos de madera de las ventanas para evitar que se deterioren, porque ya se veían algo resecas por el sol. Seguramente cuando haga ese trabajo les estaré contando.
