Hello everyone!
Walking through Verona's old town, you can stop at several different squares and admire the surrounding buildings. From these smaller squares, it's worth visiting Piazza dei Signori, which is located next to the larger and more popular Piazza Erbe.

Spacerując po starym mieście w Weronie możemy zatrzymać się na kilku różnych miejskich placach i podziwiać otaczające je budynki. Z tych mniejszych placów warto jest zajść na Piazza dei Signori, który znajduje się obok większego i bardziej popularnego placu Piazza Erbe.
View of the northeastern part of the square. In the center of the square stands a monument to Dante Alighieri, the author of the epic poem The Divine Comedy. Dante himself lived in Verona for some time after his exile from Florence.

The Loggia del Consiglio, also known as the Loggia Fra Giocondo, was commissioned by the city authorities to house local council meetings between 1476 and 1493. It currently houses the Provincial Council.
Budynek Loggia del Consiglio znany również jako Loggia Fra Giocondo powstał w latach 1476-1493 na zamówienie władz miasta na posiedzenia rady lokalnej. Obecnie jest to siedziba Rady Prowincji.
As with any square, you'll also find various restaurants here. Some buildings also house hotels.
Jak na każdym placu znajdziemy tu również różne restauracje. W niektórych budynkach znajdują się również hotele.

Between the buildings above the arch there is a monument to Girolamo Fracastoro (1476-1553) - an Italian doctor, poet and scientist (he dealt with mathematics, geography and astronomy).

The 12th-century Palazzo della Ragione (also known as Palazzo del Comune), situated between Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, is distinguished by its Torre dei Lamberti tower from 1172 (rebuilt in the 15th century).
Budynek Palazzo della Ragione z XII wieku (znany również jako Palazzo del Comune), który położony między Piazza delle Erbe a Piazza dei Signori wyróżnia się wieżą Torre dei Lamberti z 1172 roku (przebudowana w XV wieku).
Currently, it houses, among others, the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art.

Next to it, with a less impressive tower, stands the Palazzo del Capitanio (also known as the Palazzo di Cansignorio). For several centuries, it was the seat of the captain of the Venetian government.
Obok z mniej okazałą wieżą znajduje się Palazzo del Capitanio (znany również jako Palazzo di Cansignorio). Przez kilka wieków był siedzibą kapitana weneckiej władzy.
Palazzo del Podestà (also known as Palazzo di Cangrande) from the 14th century with a 16th century portal by Michele Sanmicheli.
