I was in Home Depot the other week in California and the Halloween decorations and merchandise had already started going up. It made me remember the most iconic punk band ever, the Misfits, and their adaptation of horror into punk. So here are three Misfits classics I love.

Now when you think of punk you think of loud and fast, and while the Misfits did have those tunes, they also had head bobbing, whoa oh oh oh oh, rollers like this one. The lead guitar gives me Frankenstein vibes.

Tying up the theme of this post my with my last pick. Growing up in Southern California in the 80's and early 90's we had easy lives. Even so we were still full of piss and vinegar so we spent our days building and skating on ramps, in pools and on the streets of Southern California while listening to the Misfits. Halloween was a fun tune because it rolled around every year and we could celebrate by singing it since we were too old to trick or treat.

And that's it for this week. I'm too full of piss and vinegar again t post chill tunes, but maybe next week.
Thanks for listening! Thanks for listening! Thanks to @boxcarblue for introducing me to #TTT and @ablaze for dreaming it up.
