Hello Afritunes fam! Welcome to my blog and to Afritunes Week 188, I am @rubiiess and for this week's entry I will be singing a HAUSA WORSHIP MEDLEY.
Hausa has been one of my favorite language to worship God. English has been good and all nice just that I feel whenever I worship in hausa, the words gets to me more, the message hits me the more, I get to take time and assimilate the words and turn them into prayer. When I am at my lowest I feel I should just sing in this language and let God know my problems. Yes this is me Lord, above all the tongues and English vocabularies, here I am in all sincerity, listen to my cry because at this point I do not have time to speak Grammer.
The first song is a song of total surrender unto God, we have come once again to your presence, here we are with all our faults, with all our insecurities, with all our failures, we are not worthy people and still we have come to say thank you for all you have done in our lives.
The second song is a Thanksgiving song, thanking God for all the good deeds he has done in our lives and all that He is yet to do.
