Hi splinter fam,
Welcome to my blog for another week of exciting entry into the splinterlands engagement challenge. A few days ago I made my social media entry and I wrote about an interesting battle once more. I like writing about my battles cause in those posts I share a lot about game play tactics. I mostly talk about the rulesets and how one can navigate them for the best chance to win.
I am not the best or even consider myself as one of the best but I can as well say that I try my best and with the few tricks that I have up my sleeve I can say that I indeed have a lot to talk about which will be of benefit to the one reading.
Today I will be talking about something very similar to what I've been writing about in my social media posts. So let's get into it.
In the game of splinterlands there are 4 modes that one can play in. Some of this modes have been there for a while whilst some of them were recently released. The modern and will format have been around for ages. The modern and wild format are similar but also come with a few tweaks. In the modern format one can only use two set of cards releases but in the wild format one can use all types of cards from the very first set of spl cards that wear released.

The thing is the modern format encourages human interaction unlike the wild format. With the wild format one can use bots to play but in the modern format its not allowed. The modern format encourages humans to play as much as possible. So as such the rewards in the modern format are much better than the one in the wild format. Let be give a practical example so you can understand. A few seasons ago I decided to move to wild format cause the new card set were announced and since I didnt have cards that could play modern I had to pivot to wild.
Before that I was earning between 8 and 9 sps per win in the diamond league. When I moved into into wild and made it into diamond I was earning half of that amount. When I finally made it into champion in the wild league was earning a little over 4 and 5 sps per win which was crazy to me. It eas crazy cause I didnt understand how ill be earning that low for being in champion. Even the glint rewards were very low as well. So there you have it, if you've ever thought of switching to wild because of rewards, its a bad idea. But if you want to use bots to play then its a great idea.
Now let's talk about the other mode. The survival mode was announced a few months ago. With the name survival it was an interesting and exciting addition to spl modes. Why? It gave players a kind of an excitement if they were able to kill ones cards in battle. With survival mode, you'd lose your cards and summoners to a cool down which could have lasted days if they were killed in battle. This meant that you couldn't use those cards in the other modes of the game as well. Now it has been changed and it only stays on cool down in the survival mode.
This means you can use your cards in any of the other modes except the survival mode. Now when this mode was announced the rewards there were greater than any of the other modes. Now I can't say but I know the rewards for survival jabe been reduced so that it can be played for a longer period of time before a proposal is put up for jow it will be funded.
The last mode is the frontier mode. This mode is barely a month old but has attracted a lot of players to that mode in the last few weeks. Its a mode that is intended to help newbies have a smooth ride into the game. In this mode one can earn cards that can be sold on the market. Just that one can't use the normal cards we use in the other modes. You'll have to use frontier cards which are only earned when you go through the chapters. Whiles you are playing to earn those cards you are taught how to play the game. When you advance to other leagues like in the other modes you earn what we frontier cards from chests. In this mode you don't earn sps and glint.

Now one will ask which of the modes is profitable. Well to earn a nice profit from the modes you'll need to invest. Now it depends on the individual. To play modern, wild and survival one needs to invest into buying sps and cards as well. You need staked sps to actually play and earn sps and glint. For the frontier mode all one needs to do is have an account and you'll be able to play. But there's a catch, you need to pay for a spell book before you can put your earned cards up for sale. A spell book cost 10 dollars which I think is cool.
So for me, I think the best way to earn is to play the frontier mode especially if you're not financially flamboyant to put money into buying cards and sps. One other way you can also earn is by playing a scholar account. This means someone will own the account with all the cards and sps in it and then you'll be the player. Then you find out a way to share the sps that is earned.
