Hi splinter fam,
Welcome to my blog for a weekly dose of splinterlands content. This is an entry into the engagement challenge and as you know it, the engagement challenge always comes with a different taste. This week in my social media post i wrote about the splinterlands application for android users. This week I'll be writing about a card that tends to change the tide in my favour.
For spl, there are cards that are made for certain moments. These cards with or two buffs can make a whole lot of difference in battle. This cards are best in their max level and then when you use them you get to see how good and extraordinary they can be. There are a few cards which catch my eye from time to time and I don't joke with them when I am playing the game. These cards are mostly cards which either carry a lot of health, a lot of speed or a lot of power. Some of these cards might be cards which carry a combination of all the mention abilities and then carry along very good buffs and debuffs. For me, yes I do tend to love those cards cause they are so hard to kill. But then let me Introduce you to this game changer of a card. This card doesn't have a lot of health, speed, power or shield but when it uses its abilities to your favour you'll thank your stars.
This card is the one and only inept healer. As the name implies its a healer card and its not like a regular healer card. This card is a fire card with just 2 magic attack, 5 health and 5 speed. The 5 speed makes a whole lot of difference when its attacking but apart from that its down to its buffs and debuffs. It has 4 buffs and debuff abilities. These are magic reflect, corrupted healing, phase and void. The magic reflect means that it returns 50% of damage to attacker when hit by a magic attacker.
The corrupted healing means that it retotes 70% of max health to other allied units in each round. When this also means is that it can't self heal. The phase means that magic attacks have thr chance to miss.
And then void means that 50% less damage from magic attacks. What this also means is that when an attacker has only 1 magic attack then it will make 0 damage impact on that card.
To be sincere, the only reason why I go for this card day in day out is because of its corrupted healing ability. Your card can be left it 1 health and it'll take it back tk 70% health. That's crazy and all this details makes one win in battle.
The only downside to a corrupted healing ability is that it doesn't heal itself and if that card tends to get attacked then youll end up loosing the corrupted healing fast enough. If you're able to keep this card in the game for a couple of rounds then you're si good to go. It'll help your cards stay alive for a longest time which will help you land your attacks nicely.
I mostly use it with a combination of other fire cards. These fire cards should be cards that have a lot of health so that almost max of their health will be restored. Also know that with each round the max amount of health it can restore decreases. Its not like a normal healer that seeks to heal you but to full strength. The downside about a normal healer card is that it tends to start healing the card which took the most hit in round 1 and then tends to heal it till the battle ends.
This is [an example of one of the games where I used this card](https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_a4bbb2fca84ecf4b734f0bb84abad623?ref=wehaveall) really well. You can take a look at it.
