When School Projects Feel Like Real-Life Adventures

In our Practical Research 2 class, we were given the task to build a creative station to present one part of the research process. Our group was assigned the rationale, a section that explains the “why” behind every study. But instead of doing a typical report, we decided to make it fun and meaningful. Inspired by the popular Roblox game *Grow a Garden* (I think most of you are already acquainted with it), we brought the virtual garden into our classroom but Human-version haha.

It seemed like a fun and fitting concept, especially since rationale is all about planting the purpose and growing it into a meaningful study. With limited time in school, we had to meet up at one of our classmates’ houses to finish the visuals. We didn't expect much because we just wanted to get things done. But surprisingly, our station turned out more creative than we imagined. It had a full garden vibe, complete with green grass on the table, baskets filled with toy fruits, colorful vegetables (it looks realistic too), and mini fences. ![518982539_591269530445319_1969615393624856737_n.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/rufajane/EoAYEbuzbvMECaLvhNX5yYaAwkD3NdJSjk6CxJrgT48mUNiN1Wnkhu7QY1wvXrehRaj.jpg) To match the theme, we all wore farming-inspired outfits. Not everyone had overalls or jumpers, so some of us (including me) wore jeans instead. But we made sure to top it off with farming hats to complete the look. Our small accessories helped bring the whole garden to life and made our group stand out even more.

--- Our station wasn’t just cute, it was informative too (of course). We broke down what a rationale is, how it should be structured, and why it's an important part of research. We included detailed visuals and wooden-themed frames for each section, making our board look like a real part of a digital garden. But what I love the most about this activity is that we get to know more about each other and learned how to work as a team, get creative under pressure, and still have fun in the process. indeed, the effort we planted truly bloomed.

We may have been pressed for time, and not everything went as planned, but we made it work together. From crafting the visuals and late-meetups of course, every effort was worth it. We’re proud of what we made because of the teamwork and memories that came with it. I am really proud of my groupmates as well. So that would be all for this blog and I hope you had fun reading.
