Mother's Day Special: Treating the Oldies with Their Favorite Snacks, Halo-Halo with Caramel and Pepperoni Pizza 

Last week, I saw this post on Facebook from Happy Scoop, where they have this special promo for the Mother's Day celebration. Aside from that, they are also gathering some orders for their special Cinnamon Roll with Cream Cheese Frosting, which will be available on that special day. That post from them is like a reminder for me.  And since then, I've been planning what to do on that special day for my mother. And since I'm not good at preparing and surprises, I just opt to treat them to snacks, which are our favorites, and they will surely enjoy them more than giving them something else. Actually,  I want to order that cinnamon roll from Happy Scoop, but after some thinking, my oldies are not that fond of too much sweet bread, so I thought of buying our all-time favorite instead. At least the foods they like fit in the current weather we have as of the moment, lol - aside from being our favorites.  I'm thinking of getting Halo-Halo together with Footlong from Angel's Burger. But Mommy F is having a hard time walking again because of arthritis, so I have to come up with something else for her aside from Halo-Halo. Should I just go with a cinnamon roll? ಠಿ_ಠ, hmmm, let's see. But I'm sure it's not available anymore. I really like Footlong, but we got a different snack from what I initially planned. Sunday, this is it, but I started my day like it's a normal day. I didn't greet them personally, but I talked to them about the Halo-Halo and Footlong because I noticed Mom's legs. So I'm sure they already know it, haha. I don't know, I'm not really good with greetings and such. But anyway, I asked my mama Ading to come with me to the market. Yep, we started our Sunday by going for a walk in this hot weather. It's 7 a.m., but look how hot it is already. And oh, aside from going to the market, we went to this shop, where we regularly cashed out. Good timing because Hive is at its peak. After getting all we need in the market as well as cashing out the money (*thank you, Hive, because of you, I have the money to spend to treat my oldies and mama, ehe* ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ), we then go on our way home. And while going home, I saw this part. It has been a long time since I last headed this way. The flower here is still as pretty as before and in full bloom. Perfect flowers for this special day. By the way, ***happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there***. Here's a flower for y'all. It's your day, so enjoy it ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. I'm super duper excited for this day, you know. Even though the treat I meant to get for the family is simple - nothing special at all - and just the usual snacks we all eat if we really, really want to, the thought that it will make them really happy is what's making me feel more excited. I actually want to push the hand of the clock to hit 2 o'clock, that's the planned time I will buy the snacks (≧▽≦). It's not 2 p.m. yet, so as a sweet treat, I bought this Hopia for them (≧▽≦). Well, it's a just morning snack (≧▽≦).  But you know, after lunch, not even 1 pm yet, but I already gave the money to Mama to get the snacks, haha. The oldies wanted to eat it too, so it was 12:30, and Mama was already on the way. I want to go there myself and buy it, but they are not allowing me because it's really hot outside. I just asked Mama to go there, which she gladly did. I just give her extra money so that she can ride on the tricycle. But I'm not sure if she used it as a fare, I know she'd rather keep it than spend it (≧▽≦). So here's Halo-Halo and pizza (≧▽≦). We ended up buying pizza, the footlong was crossed out because Mommy F couldn't really eat it. At least with this pepperoni pizza, she can have even a slice of it. I just told her to remove that pepperoni on top so that it wouldn't affect much of the pain in her legs. Seriously, this pizza tastes yummier than those well-known pizzas I know. There are shops here that sell such expensive pizzas, but they are not worth the money. That's why we always go with this brand. The family enjoys it, as I enjoy it too, of course (人 •͈ᴗ•͈). We're all happy, Mama, the oldies, and me, and our happy tummy, UwU. When Mommy D saw these snacks, she said, "oho, your treating us for Mother's Day, ha." See, I knew they knew it, lol. I just answered it with, "Of course, that's really how it is, Mom, lol." Still, not greeting them. Sorry, I really don't know how to say it. I'm not showy, so I hope that with my action, they still get the message.  How about you? Have you greeted your mom? Or those moms that you know? It's not too late, so you still have the chance.
