Our Lively Sunday: Got New Firewood from the Fallen Bangkal Tree, Mama's Rice Coffee, and the Pancit Miki Guisado with Pork Fats She Made for Us

It's a Sunny Sunday, perfect day to do the laundry. But, I already did mine before the typhoon arrive, I did good right? (☆▽☆)  I'm thankful for the beautiful sunshine today, even though Mr. Sunny seems like really mad. Maybe because a "mere" Typhoon interrupted it's time to give sunshine to it's people. Guess Mr. Sunny's really mad for us because the typhoon really wrecked havoc in the Philippines. Can you spot that ginger cat sun bathing in there? That's Sarah, she's okay now. She had a accidents week ago, Mama's dog attacked Sarah while she's out. It's the night and she always do that, roaming around the garden. Then these savage dogs just decided to attack her for whatever reason. You see, Mama's dog see our cats as a toy maybe because they are so tiny. And they always chase them out, that actually annoyed me especially when I see our cat getting too scared because they are so big yk. But well, they are dogs, so we can't really stop them. Good news, Sarah's okay now. She couldn't walk for a week back then. Good to see her walking around the yard again, climbing and hopping up there. Moving on, I went to the market with Mama with this kinda of weather. The heat today's really too much. It was as if Bansud was didn't hit by a typhoon. Still, i'm thankful for this good weather. We just had to bear with the heat. And you know, this typhoon give us something useful today, that's because the bangkal tree was cut down in half, it gave us this much of firewood that can be useful for motherbels. She already cut them into small sized and already dry them in the sun. See, this weather is really a good one for us. I just continue walking around our yard, just like what Sarah's doing. And look at all these Lukban on the ground. So sad to see even the baby lukban in the ground, they didn't get the chance to grow more *so we can enjoy them* ಥ‿ಥ. Aigoooo But, we're still lucky because there's still a few more fruits left on the tree. It amazed me that they withstand that strong wind, it's a Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal #3 you know. -- So let's talk different topic this time, I daw Mama roasting something in her pan in the dirty kitchen so I asked her what it is. It's a roasted rice. Rather than buy and make a budget for instant coffee, she just make rice coffee herself. As I look how to make rice coffee on the internet, it is actually easy to make it ha. You just have to roast it, grind it then voila - one it turns into a powder you can now your rice coffee. And it has good benefits too on the body. Seriously, all she did was search on google. I guess Mama is using the internet and her phone the right way, uwu. Have you already tried making a rice coffee? -- And oops, I really talked about a lot of things today, haha, again, lol. Well, what to do, we have a lot's going on in our home. And I think they are worth sharing here on Hive ┏(＾0＾)┛ Ahhh, before I end this, let me share Mama's yummy merienda. She used Miki Noodles, it's made with APF or wheat flour, eggs and water. This Guisado Miki Noodles she made has port fats and egg on it, as you can see the shell of the egg us still there, haha. She cleaned the egg thoroughly of course. It supposed to be with vegetables but they are kinda expensive now here. Saduuu Who wants? I ate it with a five peso bread and it's the best!
