This time, I really want to enjoy a home-cooked meal that I haven't cooked at home in a long time, especially clear vegetable soup with fish in chili sauce. I never seem to get tired of this dish. I don't know why, but I cook this simple dish at home almost three times a week. The reason is, I think it's so healthy, because I also pick the vegetables from my mother's backyard garden.

My mother grows several vegetables in her backyard, such as papaya flowers, melinjo leaves, cassava leaves, and long beans. These are the vegetables I'll be using for my clear vegetable soup today. They say that using papaya flowers in clear vegetable soup can be bitter, but I don't think it's that bitter. In fact, it's even tastier if you add papaya flowers to it like this.
Meanwhile, for the carrots, I happened to have some leftovers in the fridge at that time. I bought a lot of carrots to make carrot soup as requested by my mother. Because there were too many carrots, I left one in the fridge to cook clear vegetable soup today.

Vegetables are complete, of course there must be fish, right? The fish I use is a type of red jackfruit seed fish, this fish is really suitable for balado sauce like this, enjoyed with clear vegetable soup, wow, it's really great, a perfect combination for lunch menu in my opinion.

I marinated the fish first with salt and lime, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then I fried the fish until cooked.

I started to prepare the vegetables, for all the vegetables I cut them into small pieces then I washed them until clean.

After all the vegetables were clean, I started to boil the vegetables, I put in the cassava leaves and papaya flowers first while I ground the spices for the fish and I sautéed the fish spices too.

next I added the long beans and carrots then I cooked until all the vegetables were cooked, don't forget to add a little salt, While I cook the fish seasoning, cook until the oil comes out, after the seasoning is cooked, add the fried fish, cook until the seasoning is absorbed

I really enjoy posting clear vegetable soup like this, a few days ago I also posted it, but today the vegetables are a little different with the addition of papaya flowers which are said to be bitter, but in my opinion it actually makes it even fresher and tastier.

With a home-cooked menu like this, it makes me want to enjoy it. Fresh vegetables picked directly from the tree and fresh fish also make us enjoy it even more. Basically, if I don't have an appetite, I will definitely cook this dish, and my appetite will immediately come back.
