Yo Rave Army!

Today is Monday which means that I share with you my new track. Remember I already gave you a hint about the rearmed rave army? The time has come! First, a little preface. Exactly 17 years ago, I started my musical career, I just started with hardstyle, at that time I traveled a lot and repeatedly visited various open-air music festivals, I liked it so much that I started my path as a composer from this genre, I so fell in love with this music for its large-scale sound, for its brightness and assertive character. Like seias, I remember how I was overwhelmed with feelings when I stood on the dance floor among thousands of other people, I remember this atmosphere, I then said - wow! It's something incredible. For me, this music did not seem like something heavy, but rather light and colorful, these crazy melodies, pauses and kicks of distorted kicks - this is a separate kind of culture, mostly underground culture.

Do you remember the days of the most huge popularity of hardstyle music in the world? I don’t know about you, but for me it was 2004 and the next few, of course, now during the epidemic there are much fewer such festivals, but still they exist. A couple of years ago I did an intro track for Q-Dance and Defqon.1, I shared it here or not, I don’t remember, but when I sent this intro to the organizers of Defqon.1 they gave me feedback, they liked what I did, I was very happy then that I managed to get into the right format, and that such big names appreciated my work.

So. Today I decided to re-equip the rave army and make a hardstyle track in order to wake up sleeping ravers with these vibrations and equip them with new music, charge them with new emotions, give them a second wind!

Let's go over briefly about all aspects of creating this composition. Like 17 years ago, when I first opened the music program and tasted the sound of Vanguard, I realized that this is exactly what I needed, and without changing traditions, I chose this particular synthesizer to create these powerful, poisonous sounds. I was not mistaken in my choice, although this synth has been performing its function 100% for many years, besides, I have not forgotten how to turn the knobs and faders on it, and this is the main thing.

Finding a pair for Vanguard was not difficult for me, I quite often combine synths that are similar to each other. My choice fell on - Hive 2. Its sound filled the track with drive even more, adorned it with a secondary melody that, in unison with the main one, sounds very powerful and expressive! I often use it when creating music, this synth is generally not limited by anything and will suit the creation of completely different musical genres, proven over the years!

I took the bass part and distortion kick from my personal Hardstyle collection, which I have been collecting for more than 5 years, and during this time it has already accumulated more than 10,000 different drum kits, sounds, effects and other things. Everything is standard on the master, basically this work with each instrument in the equalizer, work with compressors and effects, nothing supernatural, although there are a lot of loud sounds in such music that constantly conflict with each other due to frequencies, I coped with this task, and how It all sounds pretty solid and good to me.
