Hello guys. Today I will share with you a very famous and historical Lahore Fort. I have been to Lahore many times but could not visit it but about two months ago when I went to Lahore with my cousin, on my insistence we went to Lahore Fort. It is just in front of Badshahi Mosque and that day the weather was not very hot so we visited this fort well.

It is a very big fort you will not be able to see the whole fort and you will get tired already. We did not enter through the main gate because that gate was closed and it is very magnificently built, I have shared its pictures on the last of the blog. We entered through a small gate before the main gate as you can see in the picture below.

There were some colorful flower plants next to the door and sitting here, my cousin started drinking water because he said that the fort is very big and I would like to drink water before starting it. In front of where he was sitting, there was a big door which you can see in the picture below. It was very beautiful and the 3D art and carvings on it attract you towards it. The door that was in it was made of iron and was very heavy. I had guessed after seeing the beauty of this door that I would get to see more historical things inside which have always been my favorite.

Look at how high and thick the walls of this fort are, that is why it is still standing even after three hundred years and small bricks have been used in these walls. The carvings and 3D art on the walls remind us of this old era and some of the walls have been repainted so that its beauty does not diminish because travelers from all over the world come here.

This fort is very big and I realized this when we went up and we also got to see the view of the distant Badshahi Mosque whose pictures I have shared below. All the buildings here were made of small bricks and these buildings were very historical and looking at them reminds me of the past.

My cousin started taking selfies here and below you can see a person who was sitting dressed according to the old culture. He had hold a hand fan in his hand and wear a cap on his head and I took his permission first to take his picture.

The walls of the buildings here were built in a unique way, some walls were slanted and some walls were very thick. There were numerous open fields and gardens here with beautiful plants and various buildings including prisons for prisoners, staff accommodation, decision-making rooms and punishment buildings.

All these buildings were giving a very ancient vibe and their carvings were very old and this is which attracts people. In the picture below, you can see the Badshahi Mosque from a distance and I captured this while standing inside the royal fort.

This is me and this picture of me was taken by Moazam. I was standing by the fountain and this fountain was closed and there were many such fountains in this fort. I was imagining the time when those old people, the king and his slaves and maids lived here and how magnificent and grand this fort was. I felt like I was in the past because its buildings and architecture were very ancient. This royal fort is about 300 years old and that is why many of its things are in a dilapidated condition.

This is the door of a prison and it is quite big. It had windows on all four sides and I looked inside through these windows. It was completely dark inside and looked very scary. I was wondering how many bones there must be inside because there were many prisoners who were never released.

They were charging a ticket to go to the roof of this prison because the view was quite good from the top and people were going up to take pictures. But we did not go because we were tired now and we had to visit it completely before nightfall. You can see some replica cannons which were painted black to make this museum more historical because tourists from all over the world come to visit this royal fort.

This is me and my cousin. My cousin was taking selfies so I also took a selfie with him. There were tickets to visit many places inside this fort but we didn't go to such places because apart from these places this fort was quite big and we were tired. We decided that we will visit these places next time. Some buildings were also being renovated here so that the memory of this fort can be kept fresh because this fort is quite old.

This is me and I took a lot of selfies in this fort but I added some selfies in the post. This fort was very big and I took a lot of pictures. I will definitely try to make a part two of this fort because I still have a lot of pictures in my gallery. In this picture you can see a pavilion and it was covered with white colored stone and it was very beautiful.

In the picture below you can see that some things are also being renovated and that is why people come from far and wide to visit this fort. I think everyone feels like they are in the past here because the old era carvings and the 3D art that is done on the walls is very amazing.

Oh God, Look carefully at this picture of Moazam because he spent about five minutes here and he didn't like a single picture.😬 First he said I'm wearing a glasses, wait, let me lift it up, then he said you took the picture from one side, put me in the middle, and then he said let me move my feet a little further, but he still didn't like any of the pictures I took. I took about 10 pictures of him and I have uploaded one of them here, did you like this picture or not? Please tell me in my comments section that I am a good photographer or not.🫣

The weather was quite nice and that is why we were able to visit this fort well. I took many selfies to make beautiful memories and remember the beautiful moments that I spent with my cousin at this beautiful place. This place is really a great place to visit and I would recommend you all to visit this place. There were also craft and some antique shops here. There is also a small mosque inside the royal fort. I hope I can show you that mosque in part two of this Lahore Fort.

I hope you liked the very famous and historical Royal Fort (Shahi Qila) of Lahore. Don't forget to give your feedback about this beautiful place in my comment section. I will love to read your comments and I will be waiting for your impressions.
