Hello Hivers of this community! Greetings from my family to each one of you who shares what is happening in their daily life in this community.
Everyday we are looking forward for what will the day would bring, an unexpected blessing, what would be cooked for my family, managing our small business and the lists goes on.
As a mom, I’m juggling every day with task to do, from taking good care of my children, thinking what to be cooked from breakfast to dinner. Today I’m going to share to you our almost every day routine that was happening inside our humble home.
We live in province, so we are surrounded with different animals like cows, goats, ducks and vehicles like “kuliglig”. It’s a kind of vehicles which the farmer’s ride. It became our alarm clock every morning because the farmers wake up very early in the morning to go on their respective farms.
In the morning there is an uncle who sells “pandesal” and it became part of our breakfast; it was a perfect combination while drinking my coffee.
While I’m busy preparing our breakfast for today, my children are also busy playing just outside our house. I can focus on preparing our breakfast because of that.
I cooked some pork “giniling” or grind meat with eggs for our breakfast, but my children request to have pansit, so I decided to cooked lucky-me with moringa leaves and eggs for them.
I also practice my children now to eat on their own, although it was really messy, but I know it’s part of the process for them to practice eating on their own. Letting them be messy, it’s part of discovering and learning new things, and eventually they will become independent soon. I can’t help myself but to smile as I capture this moment of their life.
Today’s lunch I prepared a very quick and easy recipe for fish, I only added aromatics, like ginger, onions, garlic and pepper. Boiling first the aromatics with at least 2 cups of water. When it was already boiling add the fish and some salt and seasonings for a better taste. Our neighbor gave us some leaves of “kang-kong”, so I added it to our lunch.
At noon, while my children were sleeping, I’m writing my blog to publish here on Hive, it also became part of my everyday routine. Writing was my stress reliever and I’m happy that I enjoy what I’m doing. Also reading blogs of the other gives me inspiration and knowledge. Reading English was also good to improve my vocabulary, and I’m able to discover different kinds of dishes around the world and get inspired to different stories that my fellow hivers share.
My husband leaves our house around 8 in the morning for work and comes back at 5:30 in the afternoon, my children was always excited whenever they hear the motorcycle of their father. Sometimes he was the one who cooks for dinner. Just like yesterday, he cooked our dinner and our children will always tend to watch him cooked.
Every day, it may seem to be the same, but as I focus and appreciate the little things happening to me and to my family it was indeed a great day for me. I always thank God for giving us a new day, allowing us to enjoy each other’s company, especially to my children growing full of curiosity and energy, for giving me the gift of a complete and happy family.
That’s all my dear Hivers of this community, have a wonderful day. Till’ next blog 😊.
Sincerely, @saijan19
