Hello again Hive Food community, I’m back with another recipe to share. This time it was a home-made gravy. I’m a gravy lover, whenever we went to eat at a fast-food restaurant, I always request for more gravy. I tend to put it on rice because it was really delicious that way.
I always browse on the internet and found some recipe to cook a homemade gravy. So. Today I’m going to show how I made this easy recipe of gravy for my fried chicken.
Ingredients:
-
2 tablespoons of flour
-
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
-
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
-
1 teaspoon of pepper
-
1 ½ cups of water
-
Seasonings
-
Beef cube
Cooking Time:
In a pan, first is to heat the butter or margarine. Then I added the flour and continuously mix it, when the flour is cooked for one minute, I gradually added the water. Continuously mixing the gravy, I added the beef cube, seasonings, soy sauce, and pepper. I added the remaining water and continuously mixing it until there’s no more lumps of the flour that was remained. Taste if it needs to add more soy sauce, and for me it was already perfect. If you have some slice mushrooms at your kitchen you can add it to this recipe.
I was really satisfied with the outcome of my gravy, great thing I knew how to cooked some, so that I would have an unlimited gravy if I will cook some fried chicken or buy some. Even though the taste was not that the same with the gravy at the fast-food restaurants it was still tasty.
My fried chicken was now tasty because of the gravy I made today. I also put some on my rice. Let’s eat. Thank you, Lord, for my food today 😊.
That’s all my dear hiver friends of this community. Till’ next food blog. Have a wonderful day to everyone 😊.
Sincerely, @saijan19
