Hello Hivers of this community, I’m here again with another food blog to share.
Today we decided to have pork meat for our lunch. This dish was very easy to prepare and you only be needing a few ingredients for this. So, join me once again as I share how I cooked this delicious food from pork meat with string beans.
Yesterday, my husband bought a freshly pick string beans at the market which only costs 50 pesos. With this we can cooked different dishes, just like what I will share today.
Ingredients:
-
½ kg of pork meat
-
¼ kg of string beans
-
Onions
-
Pepper
-
Seasonings
-
Sinigang mix (a seasoning that gives a sour flavor to this dish)
Cooking Time:
First is to chopped the pork meat into cubes, and cut the strings into smaller strips. Then wash properly and put in a casserole with 6 cups of water.
Set the fire into low medium setting of fire.
When the water is already boiling add the seasonings and sinigang mix. Then cooked until the meat is soft and tender. I also added another 3 cups of water. Then it was cooked for about 30 minutes.
I added the string beans then added some salt to taste. Cooked it for another 5 minutes.
Then we have it “Sinigang na Baboy” with string beans. You can add more vegetables to this dish like pechay, white radish, potatoes, eggplants and taro root crops.
This dish was also perfect if you want to have a soup. The freshly picked string beans was also crunchy and gives a little sweet flavor to the dish since it was freshly harvested as the vendor said.
We partake our food and give thanks to our Lord for this blessing He gave.
That’s all my dear hivers friends. Till’ next food blog. Have a wonderful day to everyone 😊.
Sincerely, @saijan19
