Hello again my dear hiver friends, how are you today? It’s Thursday again and I’m here to share one of the happiest moments of my life, it was the day wherein my husband and I became one in Christ. Our wedding day which is held on April 18, 2022. It was summer here in our place that time and despite the hot weather, still it became the most beautiful day of my life.
The wedding ceremony was held at our church in the community, it was a house church, and there are two pastors who owns it.
The theme of our wedding was pink and navy blue, which are our favorite color of my husband. The first to march was our Pastor then followed by my husband and his parents, next to march are the bridesmaids and the grooms’ men. Then there are flower girls, ring bearer, bible bearer and our godparents and friends. Last to march of course was me. I was really emotional when I was finally walking the aisle, I can’t help myself to cry that time, it was mixed emotions because my mother was not with me that time, she was not able to go home because of some reasons, my grandmother together with my late father walked with me and held my hand.
During our message to parents, I also cried like a child, saying my gratitude to my parents and telling them how much I love them also my husband cried because his mother died at a young age, his aunt was the one who take care of them, and he was also thankful to them.
The wedding ceremony last for about 2 and ½ hours. The most awaited time was when we exchange our vows to each other, and exchanging our rings which symbolizes our love to each other.
When the wedding ceremony finished, we continue to celebrate our day at the house of my husband, we prepared a lot of food for our guest, there’s a lechon, 5 kinds of dishes and some desserts. We also received a lot gifts like money gifts, and some appliances. We are really happy on our wedding day, and grateful for all the people who celebrated the most special and happiest moment of our life with my husband. This is the day that we became one and a start of a new journey which is to begin a simple and happy family which is rooted with the love of our God.
Now, we already have two adorable kids which is our bundle of joy and the fruit of our love.
