Hello hivers of this community. I’m going to present again two easy recipes for my blog today. Our lunch and some dessert that we had last Sunday.

One of our sideline businesses was to sell foods like chicken, squid, milk-fish, and some processed foods. Since, we had an extra kilo for squid yesterday. I decided to cooked it for our lunch.

This recipe was just easy to make. We will only be needing a kilo of squid, chopped into strips, a thumb size of ginger, 5 gloves garlic, onion, pepper, sugar to balance the taste and of course soy sauce.

First is to sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger, when you can already smell the aroma of the ingredients add the squid then put a half cup of water to make the squid soft and tender. I added pepper when the water is reduced add about 5 tbsp. of soy sauce and ½ tbsp. of sugar then cooked for another 10 minutes.

Then you have it, an easy recipe for your squid. We ate outside our house, as you can it was really hot and even if you have your electric fan on, the wind that it blows was still hot. At least outside, the air is cooler and fresher, my second born really enjoyed the food for our lunch.

As for the dessert after lunch, I decided to make some pastillas, a kind of dessert here in our country that was very easy to make.

The ingredients for this dessert are powdered milk, condensed milk and white sugar. This dessert was like a soft candy that was enjoyed by many.

You will only add the condensed to the milk until the texture is a little bit hard. You can choose how to mold your pastillas, but for me I just make some little balls out of the mixture. After, that roll the pastillas into the white sugar. Then you can now have your little sweet dessert. This dessert can be enjoyed anytime of the day.
