A DAY IN MY LIFE: EXPERIENCING J & C's WEDDING CELEBRATION🍷

*Hey there, dear hivers!* 🌸 How's everyone doing? I hope you are all having a good day. I'm excited to share my experience at J and C's wedding celebration today, my mom's friend. If you have any insights or views, feel free to share them in the comments section. So, *Hajimemashō!* (Let's start)  ***(edited from canva)*** The day began with a bit of hesitation on my part. I wasn’t particularly close to the groom and bride, they were friends of my mother. My mother was invited and decided to take me and my little brother along. Initially, I declined her request because the weather wasn’t looking great, but she insisted, and how could I say no to my mom, right? Haha Before we left, I took a quick photo of myself.😄 It's just that dressing and applying light makeup **lifts my spirit** haha.  ***(edited from canva)*** Our day began with a tricycle ride to the Municipality of San Remigio for the wedding. Despite the gloomy weather, my brother and I enjoyed the ride. We took pictures and teased each other. We turned the trip into a **fun mini-adventure.**  When we arrived there, it was raining and the ground was a bit muddy. I was initially annoyed by the mess (I was wearing white shoes), but my excitement quickly took over as I realized I was about to ***witness a beautiful union.*** We made it just in time for the wedding ceremony. The venue was simple since it was held at the Mayor's office, and more newlyweds were waiting outside. The rain added a romantic ambiance to the scene. As I watched J and C exchange their vows, I felt **emotional**. It was a touching reminder that having a partner means sharing each other’s sufferings, filling each other’s gaps through good and bad times, and always being there during low points, essentially being the missing half of each other’s life. I just can't hold my emotions, I have family problems, so I compare their situations to mine :') The ceremony was quieter than I thought it would be, but it was full of happiness and excitement. Seeing the groom and bride totally in love was inspiring! Like, aww!! I couldn’t help but think about what true love means and how it’s not just about the good times, but also about supporting each other through challenges.  After the ceremony, we headed to the bride and groom's place for the reception. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with joy. The reception room was surrounded by lovely flowers, which, while too much, made a stunning visual impression. The decorations were stylish and classy, creating the ideal atmosphere for the party.  One of the highlights of the reception was the cake and wine setup. The cake, which my two sisters and I made, was designed by my mom. It wasn’t easy, but we were thrilled with the result. Seeing it displayed so prominently made all the hard work worthwhile.  We sat at the sponsors' table, a fantastic place to see all the events. As we waited for the other guests to arrive, we enjoyed the lively music and the cheerful chatter of friends and family. The program began with heartfelt speeches. It was wonderful to witness the love and support that everyone had for J and C.  One of the most memorable parts of the reception was the couple’s first dance. It was my first time seeing it!! (I mean in real life, I usually saw it on TV lol). The groom was a bit sarcastic, sigh, I wish he could've been more romantic. The speeches were another highlight. Friends and family shared touching stories and well-wishes for the newlyweds. There were moments of laughter, and it was evident that J and C were surrounded by people who truly cared for them. Let’s not forget the food! There were tasty appetizers, main courses, and desserts. (I love Gulaman so much>-<)  We went home after the event and I couldn’t help but reflect on the beautiful moments we experienced. Weddings are such special occasions that bring people together to celebrate love and commitment. I left with a heart full of joy and best wishes for J and C. I was grateful that my mom insisted on bringing us along. I had fun. The day reminded me of the importance of love, family, and togetherness. It’s not just about the grand gestures but also about the small, meaningful moments that make life beautiful. I’m grateful to have been part of J and C’s special day, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love. And that's all for my day at J and C's wedding celebration!
