Weary hearts and uncertain fate Never even on our wildest thoughts Did we expect the wrath & devastation This storm brought.
Along with the heavy downpour Along with the strong winds Future & plans were wrapped in chaos Fear was evident.
Cold nights, cold hearts Restless souls We began to embrace the silence of the night, As if it were a part of us.
As I write this words on this tiny screen I realized how this tragedy is destruction in it's horrendous form, I wish we have known Hoped we have done better.
I guess this is us, Embracing the uncertainty Accepting fates,living, surviving This is us, still here Breathing.
